    Abstract: Power transformer (PT), essential equipment in electrical power system proceeds complicated manufacturing process to meet high standard design. During manufacturing process of PT, the drying stage is of importance to remove excessive moisture contaminant on the solid insulation. This study investigated the effects of drying duration on partial discharge test of 83.3 MVA 275/160 kV PT. The partial discharge test measurements were carried out using IEC 60270 standards comprising of the capacitive network model based on the main quantity apparent charge concept. We found that the lowest partial discharge of 21 pC was achieved at 68 hours drying duration, while the highest value of 60 pC was reached at 81 hours drying time. The longer drying time may lead to initial degradation of cellulose insulation due to excessive heating. The amount of water extracted during drying effect to partial discharge also investigated. We conclude that the drying time at a higher and lower than 68 hours significantly contributes to the increased partial discharge values of PT.

    Abstract: This paper describes the work done in order to make Matlab Simulink based steam generator simulator in the simulation of a steam generator. The steam generator under this research is operated with the steam quality of 72%, O2 content is 1.2%, designed steam volume flow is 3600 barrel per day at a maximum and designed fuel gas volume flow is 1300 Thousand Standard Cubic Feet (MSCF) per day at a maximum. The simulator program of the steam generator is separated into individual components consisting of Burner, Radiant, Convection, Exhaust Stack, Feedwater Pump Discharge and Steam Discharge. Within the components, thermodynamics and heat transfer principles such as conduction, convection, radiation and also conservation of mass, momentum, and energy were applied to compute the pressure values, temperature values, and flow rate values of simulated field device based on the command and setpoint from PLC. The validation process has been done with the steam generator is operating in a steady state to the 10 important process parameters of the steam generator. The error percentage calculated from a difference between the simulation result value and the actual value from field data reference divide by actual value from field data reference. The error percentage results are as following : Fuel Gas Orifice Differential Pressure : 2.39%, Fuel Gas Pressure : 1.37%, Fuel Gas Temperature : 5.95%, Fuel Gas Flow Rate : 1.25%, Feedwater Orifice Differential Pressure : 1.94%, Feedwater Pressure : 1.54%, Feedwater Flow Rate : 0.92%, Steam Orifice Differential Pressure 3.26%, Steam Discharge Pressure 1.93% and Steam Quality : 0.05%.

    Abstract: The Induced Polarization (IP) methods is an extension of resistivity method by adding ability of the ground in storing electrical charge. One of the measurement technique is done in time domain, hereinafter referred to as Time Domain Induced Polarization (TDIP). TDIP responses measured on the surface are affected by the physical properties of the subsurface. Research in TDIP response modeling studies is performed to obtain a quantitative relationship between response to metallic mineral content at subsurface. The relationship can be obtained by forward and physical modelling. The forward modeling produces a curve that connects TDIP response to the subsurface parameters and an array. The laboratory-scale physical model is performed on the sand-box size (200x100x70) cm3 by varying iron-ore content in a sphere target. TDIP response measurements on physical models is done using Dipole-dipole and Wenner configuration. The relationship between the TDIP response and metal mineral content is obtained by comparing the results of measurements on physical modeling and forward modelling. There is good appropriatement between the theoretical curves and measuring results of the physical modelling. The greater of iron-ore content on the target, increasing in the TDIP response.

    Abstract: Beberapa penelitian terdahulu berhasil membuktikan bahwa produk mi instan yang diperkaya bayam menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan panelis yang cukup baik. Namun demikian, munculnya tambahan biaya akibat fortifikasi bayam yang secara langsung dapat mengakibatkan peningkatan harga produk, belum dikaji secara jelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan usaha dari mi bayam. Penelitian diawali dengan pembuatan mi bayam (mi dengan fortifikasi ekstrak bayam). Selanjutnya semua komponen biaya terkait operasional produksi mi bayam dicatat sebagai informasi dalam melakukan analisis Break Event Point (BEP) dan Benefit per Cost Ratio (B/C ratio). Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa harga pokok BEP produk sebesar 3 kemasan dengan rasio B/C sebesar 1,9. Dapat disimpulkan kegiatan usaha produksi mi bayam layak secara ekonomis untuk dijalankan ditinjau dari BEP dan B/C ratio. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberi informasi bahwa mi bayam berpotensi sebagai bisnis baru di bidang pangan fungsional khususnya diversifikasi produk olahan mi yang menyehatkan (mi fungsional).Business Potency of Spinach Noodle as a Product Diversification of Healthy NoodleAbstractPrevious study successfully proved that spinach fortified instant noodle showed a fairly good panelist preference. However, the emergence of additional costs due to spinach fortification which can directly lead to an increase in product prices has not been clearly assessed. This study was aimed to get more insight the level of business feasibility on the spinach noodle. Study was initiated by spinach noodle production (spinach extract fortified noodle). Furthermore, all of production cost was documented as data source for analyzing Break Event Point (BEP) and Benefit per Cost (B/C) ratio. The result showed that the cost of BEP product was 3 pack with B/C ratio equal to 1.9. It can be concluded that business activity of the spinach noodle was feasible economically to carry out. This study was expected to provide information about potency of spinach noodle as a new business in functional food field especially diversification of healthy noodle processed products (functional noodle).•••••

    Abstract: ABSTRACT Scheduling is an assignment activity related to a number of constraints, a number of events that can occur in a period of time and place or location so that the objective function as closely as possible can be fulfilled. In the hierarchy of decision making, scheduling is the last step before the start of an operation. Scheduling the assignment of KRI in Koarmatim is an interesting topic to be discussed and resolved using a mathematical method. The scheduling process of KRI assignments at Koarmatim is done to produce annual JOP / JOG. This process requires not only rapid follow-up, but also requires systematic steps. The scheduling of assignments applied by Koarmatim is currently carried out by personnel by not using mathematical calculations. The ship assignment scheduling process in this research was carried out using the Binary Integer Programming (BIP) method approach with the aim of minimizing costs and maximizing the purpose of the ship assignment. The scheduling observed was 25 ships carrying out operations for 52 weeks (1 year). The mathematical formulation of the BIP model is made up of one objective function and Three constraint functions. Then the development of the BIP model is then completed, the computer uses Excel Solver. The results obtained that the BIP model applied to scheduling KRI Koarmatim assignments is the maximum coverage area reached is 93,651,234 NM2, with an area safeguard level of 76,11 from the entire area of operating sector I to IX (1,230,442 NM2). BIP is an appropriate method to be used as a method in scheduling the assignment of KRI in Koarmatim.  Keywords: Scheduling, Ship assignments, Binary Integer Programming

    Abstract: Dewasa ini ketersediaan gula tebu (sukrosa) di pasaran semakin menurun bahkan pada kondisi krisis moneter seperti ini harga gula semakin melangit. Sehingga perlu menggali alternatif lain yang memiliki kualitas sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bahan pemanis alternatif  lain dengan kualitas sama dan memiliki tingkat kemanisan tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menghidrolisa pati menjadi glukosa dengan bantun katalis asam yaitu HCl. Dan untuk penentuan kadar gula dinyatakan sebagai glukosa dari filtrat dengan menggunakan metode Luff Schoorl. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah semakin lama waktu hidrolisa maka hasil glukosa yang didapat akan semakin esar pula. Untuk merk Rose Brand waktu hidrolisa 5 jam menghasilkan yield glukosa sebesar 16,20; waktu hidrolisa 2,5 jam didapat glukosa terbesar yaitu 17,10 merk Gunung Bromo dan yield glukosanya hampir konstan. dari pada tepung tapioka dengan yield glukosa: 16,40.

    Abstract: Objectives: to identify therapeutic effectiveness of Rat Bone Marrow stem cell in PCOS rats model on folliculogenesis, TGF-beta and GDF-9 expression and on estrogen, TNF-a and androgen levels.Material and Methods: this study is a laboratory experimental research with using animal testing. PCOS was induced by the administration of testosterone propionate hormone into 30 mice. The subjects of this study are divided into 2 groups: stem cell group and control group. The mice were injected with testosterone then vaginal swab was performed to determine the mice cycle. After determining mice in anestrous cycle, stem cell was injected. TNF-a was measured with immunohistochemistry and androgen was examined using ELISA. The data was measured by student t-test.Result: The average number of TNF-a expression in control group was lower than stem cell group (5.35 vs 2.34; p= 0.0026). The average androgen level for stem cell group was lower than mean for control group (2.31 vs 0.40; p= 0.0026).Conclusion: In this study of polycystic model mice, stem cell decreased the expression of TNF-a and androgen level

    Abstract: Peta laut Indonesia dituntut harus selalu diperbaharui, namun pada kenyataannya tidak berjalan secara optimal bahkan sebagian peta laut belum diperbaharui sampai dengan saat ini. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka teknologi penginderaan jauh memberikan peluang besar untuk pemetaan batimetri perairan dangkal secara efektif dan efisien, terutama untuk daerah yang memiliki tingkat perubahan kedalaman secara cepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan data Citra Satelit Spot-7 dan Lembar Lukis Teliti (LLT) di perairan Teluk Halong Kota Ambon. Proses pengolahan data menggunakan metode Satellite Derived Bathymetry (SDB) yang dikembangkan Kano et al. (2011) mempunyai kelebihan dapat menganalisa suatu wilayah tanpa menyentuh atau berada di wilayah tersebut dengan rentang waktu yang relatif singkat. Tujuannya untuk mendapatkan seberapa besar tingkat ketelitian dan keakurasian data kedalaman laut hasil ekstraksi kedalaman laut dari citra satelit pada daerah Teluk Halong Kota Ambon. Dalam pengolahan data menggunakan metode SDB menunjukan bahwa Metode STR menghasilkan nilai korelasi tertinggi dibanding empat metode lainnya. Pada kedalaman 0 meter sampai dengan 2 meter memiliki ketelitian 0.21, pada kedalaman 2.1 meter hingga 5 meter memiliki ketelitian 0.23 meter, pada kedalaman 5.1 meter hingga 10 meter memiliki ketelitian 0.06 meter, dan pada kedalaman 10.1 meter hingga 20 meter memiliki ketelitian 0.08 meter.
