By application of pressure-tight vessels, the thermal effects of the evaporation of volatile components may be eliminated during differential thermal analysis. Such vessels, developed for the „Differential Scanning Calorimeter“, are described, and some characteristic measurements with a thermosetting phenolic compound are reported.
Notes:
Durch Verwendung druckdichter Behälter lassen sich bei der Differential-Thermoanalyse die von der Verdampfung flüchtiger Bestandteile herrührenden endothermen Effekte ausschalten. Derartige Behälter für das sogenannte „Differential Scanning Calorimeter“ werden beschrieben und einige charakteristische Messungen an einer Phenoplastmasse mitgeteilt.
