    Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the changes in goat genotypes and lactation times of dairy compositions of goats reared in Kahramanmaraş province. For this purpose; milk samples of 5 goat breeds (Shami, Aleppo, Saanen, Alpine and Hair goat) reared under the same care, feeding and management conditions in a private enterprise were analyzed by taking milk samples from two different stages of lactation. Somatic cell count (SCC), nonfat solid (NFS), fat, protein, lactose, pH, density and freezing point parameters were measured in milk samples. According to the findings; in order of breed above, they were determined that as the SCC values were 266 550, 65 900, 80 900, 547 050 and 345 900 cell/ml; and as the NFS values were 9.60, 9.94, 9.84, 9.12 and 9.86%; as the fat ratios were 3.60, 3.88, 5.01, 4.81 and 6.45%; as the protein percentages were 3.32, 3.17, 3.36, 3.21 and 3.28%; as the lactose ratios were 3.97, 3.83, 4.01, 3.97 and 3.95%; as the density values were 1.031, 1.028, 1.032, 1.030 and 1.033.     Abstract: Pamuk yaprakbiti, Aphis gossypii Glover, 1877 (Hemiptera: Aphididae) kimyasal mücadele karşısında hızlı direnç gösteren polifag bir zararlıdır. Direnç yönetiminde direnç düzeylerinin belirlenmesi önemli bir kriterdir. Daha hızlı ve ekonomik bir biyoasay metodunun geliştirilmesi amacıyla, farklı afid popülasyonları üzerinde Acetamiprid, Dimethoate, Imidacloprid, L-cyalothrin insektisit etklinlikleri incelenmiştir. Yaprak daldırma metoduyla insektisitler 72 saat, 120 dk süre ve farklı doz uygulamasıyla biyoasaylar yapılarak direnç düzeyleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Her iki metottada 1-10 kat arasında değişen direnç oranları gözlenmiştir. 120 dk’lık hızlı uygulama Acetamiprid, Dimethoate, Imidacloprid, L-cyalothrin insektisitlerine karşı direnç tespitinde hız, uygulama süresi ve metodun ekonomik olması açısından daha avantajlı olup direnç tespitinde ve biyoasay metotlarının geliştirilmesinde katkı sağlayacaktır.

    Abstract: The use of antibiotics, which have been used in the treatment of infections, has been increasing. Therefore, the occurance of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and resistance genes both in infections and in environmentalso increasing. In settlements near the water, wastewater is commonly collected in certain centers and discharged into nearby waters after treatment. As a result, the waters are polluted with pathogenic and resistant microorganisms, posing a great danger to human health. In this study, it was aimed to determine the antibiotic resistance profiles of Gram negative bacteria isolated from wastewater samples taken from Trabzon city center. Samples taken from wastewater were inoculated on various media to analyze the growing microorganisms. Thirty-six gram-negative bacteria were included in the study. Resistance in bacteria was investigated by disk diffusion method. Microorganisms with resistance were identified with MALDI-TOF MS, and resistance profiles were obtained with an automated system. The resistance gene in bacteria was investigated by PCR method and the transmission mechanisms of these genes were examined. In the current study, antibiotic resistance was found in 8 of 36 isolates. The presence of ESBL and blaoxa was shown to be in an isolate. It was determined that two isolates had plasmids. It was also shown that ampicillin resistance in one isolate was transformed with a conjugative plasmid, and kanamycin resistance was transformed with a non-conjugative plasmid. Detection of the presence of plasmid in some isolates carrying resistance suggests that antibiotic resistance may spread among bacteria in wastewater, and may have adverse effects on living things.

    Abstract: Bu araştırma iki ayva klon anacı (BA29 ve QA) ile beş armut klon anacı (FOX9, FOX11, OHxF333, OHxF87 ve FAROLD40) ve armut çöğür anaçları üzerine aşılanmış 'Santa Maria', 'Williams' ve 'Deveci' armut çeşitlerinin fenolojik dönemleri ile birlikte dormansi ve aktif büyüme sürelerini aydınlatmak amacıyla ve 2021 ve 2022 yıllarında yapılmıştır. Fenolojik evrelerin 2022'de daha erken başladığı belirlenirken aktif büyüme döneminin 2021'de (20 Kasım) 2022'den (29 Kasım) daha erken sona erdiği görülmüştür. Aktif büyüme süresi (AGD) üzerine yıl x anaç x çeşit (Y x A x Ç) interaksiyonu etkisine bakıldığında, sonuçlar 187.00 - 228.34 gün aralığında olduğu tespit edilmiştir. AGD, 2021 araştırma yılında ‘Santa Maria’/FOX9 kombinasyonunda en düşük (187,00 gün), 2022 araştırma yılında ‘Deveci’/FOX11 kombinasyonunda en yüksek (228,34 gün) olarak belirlenmiştir. Anaçların (R) dinlenme süresi (DD) üzerindeki ana etkisi dikkate alındığında, elde edilen sonuçlar 148.67 - 153.67 gün arasında değişmiştir. En düşük DD (148,67 gün) FOX11 anacında, en yüksek (153,67 gün) BA29 ve FOX9 anacında bulunmuştur. Meyve ağaçlarının AGD ve DD'sini anlamak, meyve bahçelerinin bilimsel ve etkili bir şekilde ideal yönetimi için kritik bir yaklaşımdır. Sonuç olarak, stres faktörlerinin olumsuz etkilerini azaltmak için nemli ılıman bölgelerde daha düşük AGD gösteren anaç ve çeşitlerin kullanılması tavsiye edilebilir.

    Abstract: Determining Consumers’ Willingness to Pay According to Sensory Attributes of Erzurum Stuffed-Kadayif with Protected Geographical Indication ABSTRACT: The aim of the study is to determine consumers’ willingness to pay (WTP) in view of the product contents and manufacturing type simulations from the product profiles based on the intrinsic and extrinsic attributes of Erzurum Stuffed-kadayif profiles with Protected Geographical Indication, and then to create marketing strategies focused on consumer satisfaction. In order to reach to these goals, the main material was composed of the primary data obtained from the consumers residing in Erzurum, and consuming Erzurum Stuffed-kadayif. For the methods of the research, K-means Cluster Analysis was used to segment homogenous consumer masses according to consumption frequencies, and CA-based choice model was also applied to calculate the total utilities for each consumer cluster, and then to measure consumers’ WTPs for Erzurum Stuffed-kadayif. The results of the study highlighted that WTPs at higher prices were considerably accepted for the heavy and light users consuming Erzurum Stuffed-kadayif prepared with walnut core, but WTP sensitivities at lower prices for moderate users were gotten priority. Differentiated products in terms of product contents should be expanded for the masses with high price sensitivity, and offered to their services at patisserie sales points. Homemade-type Erzurum Stuffed-kadayif designed with walnut interior, however, should be offered to sell intensively at manufacturer sales stores.     Abstract: Elazığ(Türkiye)’ın Karakoçan ilçesinden toplanan Vicia freyniana Bornm. subsp. gigantea (dev yabani fiğ), bilim dünyası için yeni alt tür olarak tanımlandı.Yeni alt tür; başta indumentum özellikleri olmak üzere, iri bitki cüssesi, yaprak ve yaprakçık boyutları, inflorescence özellikleri, inflorescence/ yaprak uzunluğu oranı, çiçek kısımları ile tohum boyutları bakımından tipik alt türlerden farklılık gösterir. Vicia freyniana Bornm.subsp. gigantea çoğunlukla meşe ormanı gölgeliklerinde, nadiren de meşe orman açıklıklarında yetişir. Yeni tanımlanan bu alttürün; betimlemesi, ekolojik tercihleri, dağılım haritası ve fotoğrafları verildi.
