Abstract:
Monoclinic pyrrhotite is observed consistently to record a Besnus transition at ~30–34 K Hexagonal 3T pyrrhotite does not record a Besnus transition, but it has previously unknown room‐ and low‐temperature remanent magnetizations The 3T pyrrhotite is common in gas hydrate/methane venting areas, so a more detailed understanding of its magnetic properties is needed
