    Abstract: This discussion is about a healthy and sustainable hospital environment pointing out the nursing contributions in this process. The philosophical bases are anchored on the echo systemic theory which analyses the necessary sensibilities to understand nature and the structural elements of the hospital environment/space, and the joining forces of the Productive Unities by the cooperation, flexibility and partnership of the constituent elements. It is reaffirmed that the continuous feedback of the knowledge, involving in a systemic form all the Productive Unities, may favors the necessary up dates to accompany the modifications and transformations of the space and the cosmos itself. It is understood the nursing professional, when favoring the construction of interrelations in a process of interconnections can be the transforming agent and represent the connective knots which weave the net of the lively organization of the hospital environment, leading it to a more sustainable and more healthy one.

    Abstract: The global socio-economic model conceived and utilized by humans through time, has led to significant benefits for humanity. However, it has led to devastating changes in the social and environmental areas, causing repercussions in the nursing/health systems. This paper aimed to reflect on the current socio-economic model and its implications for social and environmental changes, and to propose an ecosystemic approach as a strategy to building sustainable knowledge to nursing/health. As a result of this study it is concluded that due to the complexity of the economic effects produced by the socio-environmental changes on human health, it has become necessary to invest in innovative ways to build knowledge and promote sustainable solutions. The health care/nursing is embedded in a complex system of constantly-changing dynamic interrelations, whose solutions can be found anchored in innovative, creative, non-prescriptive and non-deterministic designs, but constructed so as to be able to attain the path of sustainability desired.

    Abstract: This text presents the result of a transversal dialogical process permeating the content of art, work, and health care mediated by sensory experiences in art-education as a technological process of understanding and re-significance of health care work. An art-education experiment developed with a group of a nursing and medical professionals from a Family Health Specialization of the Federal University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, is described in full detail. The art-education technological process product in its significances is presented, based on the following experiences: Space-o-gram: for the other based upon itself; and Memory: retaking the work process, where the histories referred to the elements of the collective construction process, with its central theme as Family Health, articulated with the historical reality of the health care work, its synthesis, and re-significance.

    Abstract: Este trabajo es una reflexión acerca de la posibilidad del uso de conocimientos de gestión en el proceso del trabajo en el área de la salud, presentando aspectos generales del proceso administrativo y las consideraciones sobre el trabajo de la enfermería en el contexto general del trabajo en la salud y los elementos de la cultura organizativa y sus implicaciones en el contexto del trabajo de la Enfermería. El mantenimiento del modelo de la gerencia tradicional como el principal orientador de la organización del trabajo en el área de la salud viene cohibiendo la producción de la Asignatura de Enfermería. Es urgente, en la Enfermería, que se propicien en los trabajadores las debidas posibilidades para crear, desarrollar, usar nuevas herramientas y tecnologías para administrar el proceso de trabajo, encontrar formas creativas e innovadoras de producir y vivir, tener calidad de vida personal y profesional, ser ético/estético, entre otros. Apropiarse y utilizar conocimientos acerca de las diferentes formas de administrar el proceso de producción en el trabajo se presenta como una importante estrategia capaz de deparar y proporcionar el desarrollo de la Enfermería como una asignatura.

    Abstract: Dificuldades enfrentadas no cotidiano do trabalho da enfermagem, principalmente no âmbito hospitalar, têm sido denunciadas, sem que as implicações éticas decorrentes, tanto para os trabalhadores quanto, principalmente, para os clientes estejam sendo focalizadas ou, no mínimo, suficientemente questionadas. A organização do trabalho pode constituir-se em fonte maior de sofrimento para os trabalhadores de enfermagem, estando relacionada ao exercício de poder dos diferentes atores envolvidos nas instituições de saúde, podendo provocar múltiplos problemas morais e sofrimento moral. Com o presente texto, pretende-se explicitar, por meio de reflexão crítica, algumas relações entre a organização do trabalho da enfermagem, as relações de poder aí presentes e a sua dimensão ética. Estratégias para uma atuação ética das enfermeiras e demais profissionais da equipe de enfermagem, na organização do trabalho nas instituições de saúde, apontam para a necessidade de exercício de poder dessas profissionais, moralmente fundamentadas.
