    Abstract: AbstractInformation on genetic diversity of Ganoderma spp.causing root rot disease in crops is important to developa proper strategy for the control of Ganoderma disease. Theobjectives of this research were to study the genetic diversityof Ganoderma spp. associated with cacao and its shade trees(Albazia faltacaria, Swietenia mahogani, Adenatheramicrosperma and Leucaena leucocephala) by randomamplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis. Fourty fivesamples of Ganoderma spp. were used in this research. Theresults showed that DNA amplification using 10 arbitraryoligonucleotide primers produced 220 DNA fragmentsshowing polymorphisms. The cluster analysis showed that 45number of Ganoderma samples had a high variability with thecoefficient value ranged from 0.71 to 0.91. Further analysisusing Winboot software showed that three groups ofGanoderma spp. had a high degree of confidence ( 〉 50 %),which were Ganoderma samples from sengon (Paraserianthessp.) of Tasikmalaya, sengon (Paraserianthes sp.) ofPalembang, and mahogany of Jember; whereas the othergroups of samples had a low degree of confidence ( 〈 50%).AbstrakInformasi tentang keragaman genetik Ganoderma spp.sebagai penyebab penyakit busuk akar pada tanamanperkebunan sangat diperlukan untuk menerapkan strategiyang tepat dalam upaya perlindungan tanaman perkebunan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman genetikGanoderma spp. yang berasosiasi dengan tanaman kakao dantanaman pelindungnya (sengon, mahoni, saga dan lamtoro)dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia menggunakan penandamolekuler random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD).Sebanyak 45 sampel Ganoderma spp digunakan dalampenelitian ini. Amplifikasi DNA dengan 10 primer terpilihmenghasilkan 220 fragmen DNA yang menunjukkan adanyapolimorfisme. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya keragamanyang cukup tinggi di antara sampel Ganoderma spp. daripohon inang dan wilayah yang berbeda, dengan nilaikoefisien 0,71-0,91. Berdasarkan analisis bootstrapdiketahui bahwa tiga kelompok sampel Ganoderma spp.memiliki tingkat kepercayaan yang tinggi ( 〉 50 %) yaitukelompok Ganoderma spp. yang berasosiasi dengan pohonsengon asal Tasikmalaya, sengon Palembang, dan mahoniJember; sedangkan pengelompokan lainnya menunjukkmenunjukkan tingkat kepercayaan yang rendah ( 〈 50 %).

    Abstract: Kajian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui sejauhmana pengaruh kepemimpinan mutu kepala SMKN 2 Depok Sleman dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui 8 Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP); (2) sejauhmana pengaruh kepemimpinan distributif kepala SMKN 2 Pengasih Kulon Progo dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui 8 Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP). Kajian ini merupakan kajian kuantitatif. Populasi kajian adalah seluruh guru (termasuk kepala sekolah) yang mengajar di SMKN 2 Depok Sleman dan SMKN 2 Pengasih Kulon Progo di Provinsi D.I Yogyakarta. Sampel penelitian dipilih 30 Guru (termasuk kepala sekolah) berjumlah 30 masing-masing sekolah, sehingga total sampel berjumlah 60 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dimana untuk menambahan informasi menggunakan observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik kuantitatif dengan terlebih dahulu data diuji normalitas, linieritas dan multikolinieritas kemudian baru dapat dilanjutkan dengan analisis regresi tunggal. Hasil kajian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Kepemimpinan mutu (X1) Kepala SMKN 2 Depok tidak berpengaruh terhadap SNP (Y) dengan nilai Sig. 0,543 (syarat berpengaruh nilai sig. 〈 0, 05); (2) Kepemimpinan distributif (X2) Kepala SMKN 2 Pengasih berpengaruh terhadap SNP (Y) dengan nilai Sig. 0,004 (syarat berpengaruh nilai sig. 〈 0, 05).

    Abstract: ABSTRACTThis study examines the design of normal concrete mixtures according to SNI 03-2834-2000 and SNI 7656: 2012. This research is done because SNI 7656: 2012 is an adoption of ACI 211 which requires a mixture considering its economic side. This research was conducted by experimental method in laboratory. In this research, the test object used is concrete cylinder with dimension 150 x 300 mm. The test specimen consists of 2 variants, namely: normal concrete SNI 2000 (BN-00), and normal concrete SNI 2012 (BN-12). Each variant consists of 3 strong compressive specimen plans: 25 MPa, 30MPa, and 35 MPa. Based on the result of the test, it is found that the strength of concrete with the design of SNI 2000 for the compressive strength of 25 MPa (BN-00-25), 30 MPa (BN-00-30) and 35 MPa (BN-00-35) 27.24 MPa, 38.99 MPa, and 44.85 MPa. While the concrete mean press with the design of SNI 2012 for the compressive strength of 25 MPa (BN-12-25), 30 MPa (BN-12-30), and 35 MPa (BN-12-35) plans were 31,43 MPa , 36.54 MPa, and 39.76 MPa. Keywords: mixed design, SNI 03-2834-2000, SNI 7656: 2012, compressive strength   ABSTRAKMakalah ini mengkaji tentang rancang campur beton normal menurut SNI 03-2834-2000 dan SNI 7656:2012. Dilakukannya kajian ini karena SNI 7656:2012 merupakan adopsi dari ACI 211 yang mensyaratkan suatu campuran dengan mempertimbangkan sisi ekonomisnya. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen di laboratorium. Pada kajian ini benda uji yang digunakan adalah silinder beton dengan dimensi 150 x 300 mm. Benda uji terdiri dari 2 varian yaitu : beton normal SNI 2000 (BN-00), dan beton normal SNI 2012 (BN-12). Tiap varian terdiri dari 3 spesimen kuat tekan rencana yaitu: 25 MPa, 30MPa, dan 35 MPa. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian didapatkan kuat tekan rerata beton dengan rancangan SNI 2000 untuk kuat tekan rencana 25 MPa (BN-00-25), 30 MPa (BN-00-30), dan 35 MPa (BN-00-35) berturut-turut sebesar 27,24 MPa, 38,99 MPa, dan 44,85 MPa. Sedangkan tekan rerata beton dengan rancangan SNI 2012 untuk kuat tekan rencana 25 MPa (BN-12-25), 30 MPa (BN-12-30), dan 35 MPa (BN-12-35) berturut-turut sebesar 31,43 MPa, 36,54 MPa, dan 39,76 MPa.   Kata kunci: rancang campur, SNI 03-2834-2000, SNI 7656:2012, kuat tekan

    Abstract: 〈 p 〉 〈 strong 〉 Engineering of solar collector and LPG-burner for curing Virginia tobacco 〈 /strong 〉 〈 /p 〉 〈 p 〉 Indonesia produces 30 tones of Hue cured tobacco every year. Curing Virginia tobacco needs I 29 I kerosene per I kg cured leaves, thus lo process 30 tones cured leaves, it needs 38.7 liter kerosene with a value ol Rp 1 5.5 billion per year Kerosene as a source of energy is used for house hold in Ihe village and it is highly subsidized by the government. For such industries as tobacco processing other sources of energy are available, including gas oil, diesel oil and fuel oil, solar energy, coal, and liquid petroleum gas This study was aimed at designing solar collector and LPG buner suitable lor Virginia tobacco flue curing. Tobacco leaves were cured in a curing barn with LPG as a fuel, while the solar collector was installed on Ihe roof of Ihe barn. The size of the curing barn was 4 m x 4 m x 7 m with a capacity of iwo tones fresh leaves. The LPG-burner used was BA'I'/Baliltas-I, with was specially designed for lobacco curing barn ('nring method followed Ihe standard method practiced by farmers The experiment was conducted al IT Sadhana Arif Nusa. Has! Lombok. NTR from Angus! lo September 1997 The rcsull of experiment was evaluated holh from technical and economical aspects. The used of LPG combined with solar collector as the source of energy could reach Ihe required temperatures (J0-70°(.) during curing phases LPG consumption was 0.86 kg/ kg cured leaves, and solar energy contributed 6.48% of total energy required for curing process From economical view, the used of LPG and solar energy was not profitable. This was mainly due to Ihe high prices of LPG (Rp I 000 /kg) LPG-lank (Rp 1 600 000/unit) and roof- solar collector (Rp I 500 000 per unit). 〈 /p 〉

    Abstract: Dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan dari seringnya mengakses layar monitor salah satunya adalah kelainan refraksi, hal ini sangat membatasi fungsi indera tersebut. Salah satu jenis kelainan refraksi adalah Astigmatisma dimana berkas cahaya tidak difokuskan pada satu titik dengan tajam pada retina.Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara durasi penggunaan gadget dengan prevalensi astigmatisma pada mahasiswa DIII Keperawatan STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 38 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis variabel independen dan variabel dependen menggunakan uji pearson. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa ada hubungan durasi  penggunaan gadget dengan prevalensi astigmatisma pada mahasiswa TK 1 dan II prodi D III Keperawatan STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya nilai p (0,002) 〈 α (0,05). Disarankan kepada seluruh pihak yang terkait agar tetap memperhatikan durasi penggunaan gadget.

    Abstract: 〈 p 〉 〈 strong 〉 The use of diesel-oil and solar energy as an alternative energyfor Virginia tobacco curing 〈 /strong 〉 〈 /p 〉 〈 p 〉 The use of diesel oil and solar energy in the curing on Virginia tobacco was studied in two steps, i.e., the laboratory experiment al Ihe Research Institute for Tobacco and fiber Crop Malang and ield experiment (economic scale) in East Lombok, NIB. The study was conducted from July to September 1998. The laboratory experiment was aimed at evaluating the effect of diesel oil on (he aroma of cured leaves. Results showed that there was no Strange aroma of Ihe cured-leaves, as the effect of diesel-oil burning Ihe experiment using economic scale curing-bani indicated that the diesel-oil consumption was 0 76 l/kg krosok and if flat-plate solar collector was constructed as a roof, consumption decreased 7.84% which was equal with 0.06 l/kg krosok or 2.574 kJ/kg krosok. Economic analyses showed that using diesel-oil and flat-plate solar collector as a energy source gave a proit chance and an ability to pay the 18%/year of the capital interest, with B/C ratio -1.74, NPV=Rp 45 340 131, and IRR-52 93%. If only diesel-oil was used, it gave a lower proit with B/C ratio=l.77, NPV=Rp 46 425 215. and IRR=53.19%. The increase in the diesel-oil price up to Rp I 500/1 would give a profit chance and an ability lo pay the capital interest, with the B/C ratio = 1.487 and 1 .490. with IRR = 52.67% dan 52 99%, for curing the tobacco leaves with diesel-oil and solar collector, and with diesel-oil only, respectively. 〈 /p 〉

    Abstract: Hyperglycemia is associated with oxidative stress and the pathogenesis of diabetic complications. To reduce the hyperglycemia, modern treatment combined with traditional therapies through functional foods need to be considered, particularly to repair the damaged pancreas beta cells. A foodstuff that has a functionality potential is velvet beans (Mucuna pruriens L), espcially when it is in the form of a fermented product, i.e. tempe. The aim of study was to prove the effect of velvet beans tempe intake on blood glucose levels and superoxide dismutase antioxidant status. This research used randomized controlled group pre test- post test design using 50 male Sprague Dawley (SD) rats aged 2-3 months. The rats were subdivided into 5 groups, 10 rats per group, by means of random allocation. Group 1 is negative control (C-), group 2 is positive control (C+), group 3 is X1-TK10%, group 4 is X2-TK20%, group 5 is X3-TK30%. The groups of C+,X1, X2, X3 are induced by 40 mg/kg body weight stereptozotocin dose by intra peritoneal injection. The research was conducted for 30 days. The data were analyzed with Paired T Test, One-way Anova and continued by the Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The results showed that streptozotocin injection increased the level of blood glucose and reduced the level of serum superoxide dismutase antioxidant activity. Bioassay experiment demonstrated that velvet bean tempe diet reduced the level of blood glucose. On the other hand velvet bean tempe diet improved the level of superoxide dismutase antioxidant activity.ABSTRAKHiperglikemi menimbulkan stress oksidatif dan patogenesis komplikasi diabetes. Untuk menurunkan hiperglikemi perlu dipertimbangkan kombinasi antara pengobatan modern dengan terapi tardisional melalui pangan fungsional guna mengurangi kerusakan sel beta pankreas. Bahan pangan yang memiliki potensi fungsional tersebut adalah biji koro benguk (Mucuna pruriens L) yang difermentasi menjadi bentuk tempe. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan pengaruh asupan tempe koro benguk terhadap kadar glukosa darah dan status antioksidan serum pada tikus hiperglikemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 50 ekor tikus jantan jenis Sprague Dawley umur 2-3 bulan. Tikus dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok dengan cara random alokasi. Kelompok 1 kontrol negatif (C-), kelompok 2 kontrol positif (C+), kelompok 3 adalah X1-TK10%, kelompok 4 adalah X2-TK10%, kelompok 5 adalah X3-TK10%. Tikus kelompok C+, X1, X2, X3 diinduksi streptozotocin (STZ) dengan dosis 40 mg/kg BB secara inta peritoneal. Penelitian dilakukan selama 30 hari. Data dianalisis dengan Paired T test, One way Anova dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Wilayah Ganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa STZ meningkatkan kadar glukosa darah dan menurunkan aktivitas antioksidan SOD serum. Hasil analisis in vivo pada tkus menunjukkan bahwa asupan tempe koro benguk menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dan meningkatkan aktivitas antioksidan SOD serum.

    Abstract: Research aimed at describing profile of indigenous knowldge owned by the Dayaks Bakumpai in Batola district on managing the diversity of herbs growing at the river flow and swamp. Data on herb used by the tribe were grouped based on the etnobotanic study, covering study botany, etnofarmacology, etnoantrophology, etnolinguistik and etnoekologi. We also observed how the Dayaks Bakumpai in Batola district preserve the diversity of plant in around them, and how their efforts in bequeathing or teaching the traditional knowledge of an old breed generation to his young daam in managing diversity of herbs around them.  The study was carried out at three vellages, namely Simpang Arja, Pengulu and Ulu Benteng. The results showed that 52 plant species living along the river and 67 species that live in the marsh. Based on the interview we found that (1) the profile of indigenous knowldge dayaks bakumpai district batola in making use of the diversity of plant in surrounding shown through etno-linguistic, etno-economy, etno-anthropology, etno-farmacology and etno-ecology against 44 tufted herbs of 67 of herbs found, (2) Dayaks Bakumpai in Batola district, to preserve the diversity of plant surrounding them, have done without planting, but by making use of herbs without a certain rule, making use of herbs by a certain rule, making use of herbs let plant grown in nature, and destroy plants that exist or cultivated, and (3) efforts for the inheriting the indigenous knowldge to its young generation have been done by women and quite alarming that many young ages of Dayaks Bakumpai do not know the name of herbs around them.

    Abstract: Background: TB patients are generally the most productive age group and suffer from chronic energy deficiency. Therefore, patients with TB requires a combination of chemotherapy and supplementary feeding as probiotics and zinc to boost the immune response and nutritional status.Objective: To analyze the effect of a combined of probiotics and zinc on the changes of hemoglobin, albumin level, and BMI.Method: This study is a quasi-experimental, randomized design with pre-post test control group involving 52 respondents. They were divided into two groups. The treatment group was given a combination of 1 capsule of probiotics (2 billion probiotics) and zinc 20 mg per day for 28 days. The analysis is paired t-test, independent t-test, Mann-Whitney, Pearson, Spearman, Covariance.Results: There was an increase in hemoglobin (p=0.01), albumin (p=0.01) and BMI (p=0.01). There is no difference between the two groups in the levels of hemoglobin parameter (p=0.21) and BMI (p=0.12), whereas there is a difference parameter albumin levels (p=0.01). The effectiveness of interventions is 4% for hemoglobin levels, 16% to albumin, and 1% for IMT.Conclusion: Probiotics and zinc for 28 days in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis may increase levels of hemoglobin, albumin, and BMI, but there is no significant difference in the changes of BMI. The most powerful influence of intervention effectiveness is on albumin.
