Abstract: Cyberbullying is by an individual or a group by using resources such as e-mail, smart phone, pagers, short message services (SMS) and websites, Information and Communication technologies in order to harm a person; intentional, repetitive hostile behavior. When the literature is examined; it is seen that cyberbullying behaviors are carried out with the aim of intentionally harming, peer pressure, negative family-friendship relations, aggression, taking revenge for harming, and making the target person do an action that they do not want to do. According to the results of a study in which the percentage of performing cyberbullying behaviors was determined; According to the results of the study conducted with 160 adolescents between the ages of 14-18 in T & uuml;rkiye; it has been determined that the rate of exposure to cyberbullying of young people is 83% and the severity of this rate is emphasized. When the negative effects of cyberbullying on the psychology of individuals, especially young people, are examined in the long term, depression and depression, fear and/or embarrassment of people, a constantly warned state, avoiding virtual environments and technology, avoiding responsibility, use of addictive harmful substances, negative behaviors such as being away from school draw attention. Communicating with other stakeholders in education (such as school administrators, class-branch teachers, guidance teachers, families) in order to prevent children and/or young people from being exposed to the stated negative effects of cyberbullying and in this context, it is foreseen that the collaborative work to be carried out between the stakeholders can be important and effective in terms of problem solving. Awareness behaviors such as supporting students to receive safe education in an academic sense, encouraging children and young people to use the internet safely, controlling the sites and shares that children visit, and drawing attention to abnormal and aggressive behaviors they display while using technology will support the prevention of cyberbullying. In this context, determining the cyberbullying awareness levels of the specified stakeholders and organizing trainings by the relevant institutions and organizations within the scope of the findings will contribute to raising the awareness of the stakeholders on this issue. In the light of all these, the aim of this study is to determine the cyberbullying awareness levels of primary school teachers and to associate it with the dependent variable of communication skills proficiency levels. In order to serve this purpose, research was conducted with a total of 154 teachers working in primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Kars T & uuml;rkiye. As a method in the research, mix method was used and the findings related to various statistical tests were revealed. It is predicted that the findings obtained in the study will contribute to the literature and researchers in order to raise awareness of cyberbullying to education stakeholders.

Abstract: The social network, which has become a part of our lives, obliges humanity as a result of the developing technology frenzy as a result of the information age; it has become the focal point of our lives a little more every day. We have progressed from the days when there were technological devices that could enter the homes of a limited number of families, to the days when even newborn children have a profile on social media. Considering that social networks are reshaping people's communication, interaction, collaboration, work and even the learning process; the purpose of this study is to analyze the social network usage of secondary school students. For this purpose, in this study, a survey was conducted on 5th grade A/B - 6th grade A/B - 7th grade A/B - 8th grade A/B students of a public secondary school in Kars. The collected survey results were analyzed with the help of related statistical tests. A total of 172 students, 85 girls and 87 boys, participated in the survey. In the study, the survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used. In the questionnaire consisting of 28 questions, questions such as class, branch, gender, sleep status, success status were asked to the participants in order to reveal the demographic information of the students; In order to determine the use of social networks, questions such as which social networks they use, how long they use them, and their average internet use during the day were asked. With the 28-question survey applied; it is aimed to determine the relationship between the demographic characteristics of the students and their activity status on social networks. By analyzing the data with SPSS 24 program; for what purpose students spend time on social media and the effects of this use on students were tried to be determined. It is predicted that the results obtained in the research will be important in terms of awareness of the precautions that can be taken against negative situations such as internet addiction, mobile phone addiction (Nomophobia) that may occur in the future, based on the frequency of use of social media environments by young people.

Abstract: As the importance of interdisciplinary studies is on the rise, countries have developed innovative educational approaches. One of these innovative approaches is STEM. STEM focuses on interdisciplinary cooperation, systematic thinking, openness to communication, ethical values, research, production, creativity and problems, focusing on the intersection of knowledge and skills in science, technology, mathematics and engineering, it is a new learning teaching approach that aims to gain the ability to solve. In this context, the aim of this study is to evaluate the attitudes of the pre-service teachers towards STEM and STEM’s sub dimensions. Therefore; it was used as a data collection tool from attitude scale for Stem and Stem's sub dimensions developed by Keles, Kiremit and Aktamis (2017). In the data collection tool, 5 scales were developed in order to reveal the existence of the relationship between pre-service teachers' attitudes towards STEM and their attitudes towards; science, technology, mathematics and engineering. The related scale was applied to 204 pre-service teachers in various departments of the Faculty of Education at Sakarya University. In the research, the necessary correlations were made by considering the demographic characteristics such as gender, age and class of teacher candidates. The overall average and standard deviation values are taken into account, when explaining the data differences for the sub-dimensions of the scale. According to the results obtained from the relevant data collection tool, when pre-service teachers' attitudes towards STEM and STEM sub-dimensions were evaluated; especially in the Mathematics and Engineering dimensions, it was revealed that their attitudes were more positive and they were indecisive in other dimensions (Science and Technology). As a result, it is thought that the acceptance of STEM method by teacher candidate, which is an innovative educational approach of the research results, will contribute to the literature and the future studies in this field.

Abstract: While the world was already moving towards a digital future before 2020, the coronavirus pandemic accelerated that significantly in many sectors. This is certainly true with regard to digital transformation in the classroom, which gathered pace almost overnight when schools shutdown and lessons first moved online. At the time, the shift served to highlight how unprepared most of the sector was for digital transformation. At this point, both teacher and student skills and competencies for digital transformation have been questioned and many academic studies for literature have been put forward in this context. In this research, teacher education and competencies are questioned in the transition to the digital transformation process in Northern Cyprus. In addition, tools for measuring digital competencies and teacher-oriented changes will be introduced. It is thought that determining the competencies of teachers and the tools measuring these competencies within the scope of the digitalization process will be effective in ensuring quality in education on behalf of Northern Cyprus in the future and will shed light on future research. In the literature review, although the existence of studies belonging to Northern Cyprus in measuring the digital competence of teachers/teacher candidates & rsquo; is remarkable, it has been determined that there are not enough numbers according to the importance of the subject. Considering the rapid transition and adaptation to the digital transformation process, especially during the pandemic period, since teachers are the most important part of digital education, it is foreseen that more qualitative or quantitative research is needed to interpret and measure digital competencies.

Abstract: From the formation stages of the information society to the present day, new developments have been experienced in many areas such as data formation, processing, storage and sharing of data in electronic environments. In this context, many new technological concepts have been included in our lives. When it comes to data storage environments, the concept of "Cloud Computing", which has been developing and increasing in popularity in recent years, comes to our minds. Cloud computing, with its known definition, is an internet-based technology service that provides access to the data stored on its servers at any time through internet access and allows users to benefit from the services offered by the system to the extent they want. While the advantages of cloud computing systems such as low cost, high performance, not requiring physical materials and being flexible can be mentioned, it is also emphasized that it brings many problems in terms of system. The most important of these problems; the lack of resources in cloud computing service providers, causing unpredictable delays in server response times. Based on all this information, this research is structured on the development of solution processes on these delays. In this sense, it is possible to consider three areas of cloud infrastructure; cloud computing, distributed storage and streaming communications. One of the first solutions that comes to mind is duplicating a task on multiple machines and waiting for the earliest copy to finish can reduce service latency; but intuitively, it costs additional computing resources and increases the queue load on servers. In this context, the effect of redundancy on the tail will be analyzed in the first part of the research. As a solution proposal, in this section, it will be discussed that service delays and queue load can be reduced by using the replication method, thus making the system more efficient. In a similar way, by requesting more than one copy of a file and waiting for any of them to arrive, the cloud storage requests will be accelerated for content download. In the second part of the research, generalization will be made from replication to coding and the (n, k) fork-join model will be studied to analyze the delay in accessing a storage system with (n, k) deletion code. This analysis will provide practical information that several users can access a content at the same time and provide faster service to the relevant users. Achieving low latency in streaming communication is even more difficult, as packets must be transmitted quickly and sequentially. Based on this structure, in the third part of the research, it is aimed to develop deletion codes to transmit redundant packet combinations and ensure smooth playback. Experimental modeling method was used as a research method in the study. In general, the aim of the research is to blend various mathematical tools from queuing, theory coding and renewal processes. It is foreseen that the techniques and insights to be developed with these dimensions of the research can be applied to other systems with stochastically changing components, and integrated studies can be made and contribute to the literature in this context.
