Abstract:
Precipitation elasticity of runoff is generally assumed to be the same for an increase as well as a decrease in precipitation Results show that runoff change in semiarid and arid watersheds is more sensitive to precipitation decreases than precipitation increases It is useful to characterize different precipitation elasticity for reducing uncertainties in regional projection of runoff
