Notes: The magnetic properties of polycrystalline intermetallics YCo12B6 and GdCo12B6 which crystallize in the hexagonal SrNi12B6 structure have been studied in dependence on temperature and magnetic field. YCo12B6 is ferromagnetic with Tc=151.5 K and an average Co moment of 0.44μB, whereas GdCo12B6 is a ferrimagnet with Tc=161 K and a compensation point at 47.8 K, with an average Co moment of 0.43μB.
