Abstract:
There arc some teachers who feel it is necessary early in a course to tell the pupils precisely what will be expected of them throughout the year and to specify for the pupils a definite, objective plan on which their grades will be based. Among the many other activities during the first day of school, then, a teacher of this persuasion also makes a rather detailed statement of the requirements in the course on which the pupils will be graded.
