Abstract: 〈 title 〉 ABSTRACT: 〈 /title 〉 〈 p 〉 The aim of this article is to present a reflection on the paradox that involves the idea of universality and particularity not only in the field of Human Rights but also in the field of curriculum. Consequently, we will seek to clarify to what extent the dispute between the relativist and universalist approaches to curriculum and Human Rights stand as impediments to the consolidation of Education in Human Rights. To achieve this goal, we will retrieve the debate centered on the questions of diversity and curriculum that aims, above all, to contest the modern rationality and its universalist pretension. We will also bring to the fore the contradictions that guide the relationship between the universality of Human Rights and the diversity of the subjects to whom they are directed. 〈 /p 〉
