Kurzfassung:
We have examined the effects of chelating agents and anti-sintering aids for the preparation of perovskite-type oxide fine powders by a polymer precursor method at low temperature. The single SmFeO3 phase was obtained at the low temperature of 600ºC by using ethylenediamine for chelating agent, however the specific surface area of the powders obtained at low temperature still showed relatively small surface areas due to sintering. Therefore, anti-sintering aids were tried to use at calcining process. It was found that the use of anti-sintering aid at calcining process not only prevented the sintering but also lowered the calcination temperatures to obtain a single phase perovskite-type oxide.
