Abstract:
The sharpest decrease in weight‐for‐height z ‐score (WHZ) was seen from birth to 6 months of age. Of the factors included in this analysis, perceived low size at birth and recent diarrhoea were the main drivers of change in WHZ. More than 50% of the improvement in WHZ was unexplained highlighting data gaps to understand context‐specific risk factors.
