Abstract:
Peroxygenasen katalysieren eine Vielzahl stereoselektiver Oxyfunktionalisierungen unter Verwendung von Wasserstoffperoxid als einzigem Oxidationsmittel. Allerdings werden Peroxygenasen auch durch H 2 O 2 irreversibel inaktiviert. Für robuste Peroxygenase‐Reaktionen ist also eine effiziente In‐situ‐Bereitstellung von H 2 O 2 unabdingbar. Hier beschreiben wir eine neuartige Enzymkaskade zur reduktiven Aktivierung von Luftsauerstoff unter Verwendung von Methanol als stöchiometrischem Reduktionsmittel. Am Beispiel der stereoselektiven Hydroxylierung von Ethylbenzol zu ( R )‐1‐Phenylethanol zeigen wir die effiziente Nutzung aller in Methanol gespeicherten Reduktionsäquivalente zur reduktiven Aktivierung von O 2 .
