The article presents materials on the assessment of the current state of amateur fishing in the Gorky Reservoir within the boundaries of the Nizhny Novgorod Region for 2018-2022. The seasonal dynamics of visits to the reservoir, the fishing gear used, the volume and structure of amateur fishing catches are considered.
