In the sentence beginning “According to the Bergmann’s rule….” in this article, the text “According to the Bergmann’s rule, size of organisms should increase at lower temperatures, while Rapoport’s rule predicts that species found at higher elevations are characterized by a smaller elevational range.” should have read “According to the Bergmann’s rule, size of organisms should increase at lower temperatures, while Rapoport’s rule predicts that species found at higher elevations are characterized by a larger elevational range.”.
