Comment:
South Pacific Convergence Zone (SPCZ) d2Hdinosterol and calculated precipitation values (where appropriate) from Lac Lanutavake (duplicate cores UC1 and UC4), Lac Lalolalo (duplicate deep UC13 and UC14 and shallow UC22 and UC24 water cores) on 'Uvea (Wallis and Futuna), Lake Lanoto'o on 'Upolu (Samoa), and Lake Ematul on Efate (Vanuatu).
Fossil leaves from both cores (UC1 and UC4) were used to make a single LATVK age model. Note ages for UC1 below 136.8 cm are not constrained by deeper age control.
