Astakine 3′-UTR effect on mRNA stability.
The pGL3-OpIE2 vector with or without full-length astakine 3′-UTR was transfected into Sf21 cell and their RNA stabilities were measured. The estimated half-life (t1/2) of luciferase RNA with or without astakine 3′-UTR was 60 min and 63 min, respectively.
