American Journal of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (AJCTS) is an international, peer reviewed journal that enlightens the scientific society with its scholarly articles in the field of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. AJCTS is an open access journal that accepts manuscripts related to the diseases of the heart, blood vessels, lungs and thorax as well with main focus on surgical interventions. AJCTS focusses on recent techniques and advanced developments in surgical procedures such as cardiac surgery, transplantation of lungs and heart, thoracic procedures, congenital cardiac repair and mechanical circulatory support.

The journal also welcomes the original manuscripts on coronary artery diseases, cardiac regeneration and rehabilitation, cardiac physiology and nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular anatomy, drugs and therapy, diagnosis and treatment procedures of congenital heart defects.AJCTS aids to disseminate the knowledge about latest surgical techniques, diagnosis of the heart disease, patient surgery outcomes and risks to the scientific society. The journals aims to help the surgeons, scientists, research students and medical practitioners with the recent original works and reports related to all aspects of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. All the submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed and the accepted manuscripts will be published online. Short communications, case reports, editorials, review papers and mini reviews are also considered for publication.
