Design and Error Analysis of Tool Checking Instrument on CNC Lathe

Abstract:

With a high demand of clients to the precision and production efficiency about the CNC lathe, there is also a high demand to the precision of the sword of the tool checking instrument. In order to raise the precision of the sword and decrease the time of aligning tools, the thesis designs an auto-checking instrument applied on in-machine touch CNC lathe tool, and analyses its error. It proves that this auto-checking instrument has a wide size range and can locate once the size of the lathe tool. Its accuracy of the X-axis can be 0.02mm, of the Z-axis can be 0.025mm. It improves effectively the precision and production efficiency of the aligning knife, reduces labor cost. It has high practical value.
