Abstract: Using calcined sulfate-modified titanium-bearing blast furnace slag (STBBFS) as photocatalyst, decolorization efficiency of methyl orange (MO) in the presence of Cr(VI) were studied. The effect of solution pH on the decolorization efficiency of MO and reduction efficiency of Cr(VI) have been investigated. The results indicate that the acidic solutions are favorable for the photocatalytic oxidation of MO in the presence of Cr(VI), and the optimum pH for oxidation of MO is 1.5. The increasing of photocatalytic activities in the compound system can be attributed to five main reasons: (1) the redox reaction between Cr(VI) and MO; (2) adsorption of Cr(VI) species and dye molecule onto STBBFS surface; (3) the visible light irradiation; (4) Cr(VI) species reduced to Cr(III) by Mn2+ in STBBFS photocatalyst; (5) Moreover, the addition of Cr(VI) species able to act as electron scavengers to catalyst surface promotes the effective separation of electron-hole, and hence promote the increase of decolorization efficiency of MO and reduction efficiency of Cr(VI) in Cr(VI)-MO system under visible irradiation. UV-vis spectral analysis indicated that MO was completely mineralized in the presence of Cr(VI) after 240 min. FTIR spectral analysis showed that all these characteristic peaks of Cr(VI) and MO disappear after photoreaction, indicating the degradation of Cr(VI) and MO.

Abstract: A new fire segmentation method is proposed, which based on OHTA color model and Otsu method. Through this method we can accurately split flame in different weather conditions and different environmental conditions outdoor. The flame can be extracted completely. The method takes advantage of the flame image color space, color information and spatial characteristics of the different complementary color and provides a new idea for the extraction of flame image. This is an efficient flame segmentation algorithm, and time complexity is low. And the conversion from the RGB color space to OHTA color space is linear. It can achieve flame object segmentation from video streams in Video-based flame detection system

Abstract: Considering the characteristic of welding process for all-aluminum radiator and meeting the needs of Chinese production site, low-cost automatic welding equipment for aluminum radiator head has been designed, and this paper focuses on its electrical controls. The microkernel of main control board is C8051F020. Based on this board the subsystems for the entire piece of this equipment has been established, which include LCD,automatic welding, manual operation , welding parameters setting ,etc. Through trial runs of the machine, it indicates that the design of the electrical controls for the equipment is rational, full-featured, and works reliably and efficiently. And the quality of welding is well.

Abstract: In order to explore thermal imaging technologies’ applicability in building envelope and material defection, laboratory experiments and field tests have been carried out to record typical defection thermal images in the climate of Dalian area. Based on one typical building defection case, with its thermal images and working drawing, the effect of material and constructions on the nature and reason of its defection has been carefully analyzed, which can lead us to the conclusions that external insulation construction of building envelope of tiles facing can easily cause bursting or dropping accidents in Dalian area.

Abstract: Ferroelectric0.90Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-0.10BaTiO3 (0.90BNT-0.10BT) thin film with single perovskite phase is prepared using an improved sol-gel spin coating method onto indium-tin-oxide (ITO) glass substrates. A new solution process is developed for the preparation of precursor solution which is stable in air, presenting a low gelation and trend to the formation of precipitates. The as-prepared thin film is crystallized into single perovskite phase and has good ferroelectric properties. It is remarkable that the thin films show excellent heat-to-electrical energy conversion properties. The results of this work for the first time demonstrate the feasibility of using lead-free BNT-BT films for pyroelectric energy harvesting.

Abstract: The numerical simulation of 2-D flow filed in ESP with Moving Electrode Type was carried out, in which a 2-equation model was adopted to simulate the flow field and the computation based on the SIMPLE algorithm and the geometric model was meshed with GAMBIT. The numerical simulation of flow field with FLUENT came to the conclusion that the air flow distribution in the electro static precipitator will change when the opening ratio of the electrodes and the air flow velocity in operation have changed, so the result of numerical simulation was reasonable for the design and operation of the ESP with Moving Electrode Type.

Abstract: W-SBA-15 mesoporous material was synthesized by using a one-step co-condensation sol-gel process and characterized by various methods. The results showed that the prepared W-SBA-15 sample retained the typical mesoporous structure of SBA-15 and exhibited good catalytic performance for the green synthesis of adipic acid under organic solvent-free conditions.

Abstract: 2003, Pinkas first introduced the gradual release timed commitment, which has important applications for signatures/secrets exchange protocol and fair multi-party computation protocol. 2006, Garay et al. improved Pinkas’s construction by using a new variant of Garay-Jakobsson’s “time-lines”. However,in Garay et al.’s construction the committed value couldn’t be equal to 0.In the paper, we construct an efficient gradual release timed commitment based on Pedersen commitment and a variant of Garay et al.’s time-lines. In our construction, the committed value could be equal to 0, and our commitment has another important property: homomorphism.

Abstract: The paper introduced several ash separator, desulfurization devices and denitrification devices which were widespread used in thermal power plant in recent years and respectively compared the technicality efficiency of them. It comes to the conclusion that: in the choice of ash separators, bag filter which has more merits than ESP, it has the advantages of reliable operation, simple maintenance, adapting to change in different coal and higher efficiency. In the choice of desulfurization technology, wet limestone-gypsum desulfurization technology is the most mature, which has stable operation and wide adaptability. Therefore, the thermal power plant prefer to it. In the choice of denitrification devices, SCR with low NH3 escape rate and easy to maintain, so it has become the mature and mainstream technology at home and abroad.
