Coexistence curve of the cyclohexane + methylene iodide system in the critical region

Abstract

The transition temperatures of the cyclohexane+methylene iodine system have been measured for mixtures having a mole fraction of cyclohexane ranging from about 0.33 to about 0.60. The coexistence curve has the usual cubic form. There is no departure from the cubic curve, unless it occurs within less than 0.001° from the critical temperature.
