Zusammenfassung Die Möglichkeit der analytischen Verwendung adsorptionspolarisierter Elektroden (APE) bei Redoxtitrationen wird untersucht. Beispiele für die erfolgreiche Anwendung werden gezeigt. Notwendig zur Ausbildung eines scharfen Peaks im Titrationsendpunkt ist die Ausbildung einer spezifischen Adsorptionsschicht der zu bestimmenden Ionen. Störungen durch Adsorptionsverdrängung, Katalysator- und Fremdioneneinflüsse sowie irreversible Adsorption werden an Beispielen besprochen.

Abstract The application of Adsorption-Polarised Electrodes (APE) to redox titrations is investigated. Examples for successful use are presented. The formation of a specific adsorbed layer of ions to be determined is necessary to indicate the endpoint by a sharp peak. Examples will be discussed, where the titration is interfered by adsorption displacement, influences of catalysators and other ions or irreversible adsorption.
