    Description: The crystallization of hybrid molybdates invariably involves reaction of appropriate molybdenum source and organic bases in a suitable solvent. The outcome of the crystallization process depends on the nature of the condition favoring a particular supramolecular assembly. In this work, it was aimed to utilize hydrogen bonding to engineer multidimensional structures by appropriate choice of dinitrogen containing organic bases. Five new hybrid molybdates and their structural characterization are reported herein: [(H 2 bpee ){MoO 2 Cl 3 (H 2 O)}Cl] ( 1 ), triclinic, space group P a = 7.555(2) Å, b = 9.416(3) Å, c = 12.952(4) Å, α = 72.024(5)°, β = 85.837(6)°, γ = 73.879(5)°, Z = 2; [(H 2 temed ){Mo 2 O 4 (EDTA)}] ( 2 ), monoclinic, space group P 2 1 / n , a = 8.6796(12) Å, b = 15.705(2) Å, c = 18.599(3) Å, β = 89.993(2)°, Z = 4; [(H 2 dab ){Mo 2 O 6 (H 2 EDTA)}] ( 3 ), triclinic, space group P , a = 7.3082(16) Å, b = 9.169(2) Å, c = 11.472(3) Å, α = 91.008(4)°, β = 91.940(4)°, γ = 107.099(3)°, Z = 1; [(H 2 temed ) 2 Mo 7 O 24 ] · 9H 2 O ( 4 ), monoclinic, space group P 2 1 , a = 11.0957(16) Å, b = 16.499(2) Å, c = 11.1463(16) Å, β = 91.513(2)°, Z = 2; and [(H 2 bp ) 3 (P 2 Mo 18 O 62 )] · 6H 2 O ( 6 ), monoclinic, space group P 2 1 / n , a = 23.4967 (11) Å, b = 15.0024(7) Å, c = 24.7144(11) Å, β = 104.214(10)°, Z = 4.
