    Kurzfassung: The system is a 3-level Neutral point clamped hysteresis current controlled Inverter with Wind energy as power source. The input DC Power for the multi-level inverter is drawn from wind turbine generator connected through a rectifier circuit. An inductor has been introduced for smoothening the DC output from the rectifier. The inverter uses Neutral Point Clamped topology. The switching pulses for the inverter are achieved by hysteresis current control technique. This system is advantageous over the conventional SPWM based system as the hysteresis current control allows to reduce the low frequency harmonics while also allowing to control the fundamental amplitude depending on frequency. The outputs for the system are verified using MATLAB simulations. The hardware for Hysteresis current control for the inverter is implemented by using a dSPIC microcontroller. The proposed system can be implemented in households for supplying backup power in case of power shortage and can also be used as a primary power source if wind flow is abundant. It is easy to implement, economical and provides clean energy

    Kurzfassung: This paper explains steps to generate switching pulse using Xilinx-ISE with FPGA processor for DC-DC boost converter. The switching pulse generated using Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL) with Xilinx-ISE. VHDL is a programming language, which is used to model and design any complex circuits in a dynamic environment. This paper gives the course of action for generation of switching pulses for dc-dc boost converter using Xilinx-ISE and matlab simulink. The switching pulse generated using Xilinx-ISE with FPGA-Spartan 6 processor compared with switching pulse generated using matlab.

    Kurzfassung: An internet of things (IoT) is an exclusive method, were its impact on the enactments of human life is very trendy. This research on library control system operates on the basis of IoT and optical character recognition (OCR) algorithm rules and its training. A closed-circuit television (CCTV) watched mechanism is created to control the book issuing and returning phenomenon via tag studying system in the library. In this proposed work text file is converted into an audio file. This audio file is being played and the contents of the book can be heard via the headset. This unique function of the OCR helps blind people. Now a days OCR widely focused in machine processes such as machine transformation, text to speech extraction and text data mining. It utilized in various area of research in artificial intelligence, computer vision and pattern recognition. Using OCR to scan the damaged book in the library converted into pdf format the book gets new life and sharing the contents to multiple readers. In this paper aims to implement IoT based library management system to maintaining books in digital format.

    Kurzfassung: 〈 p 〉 This paper illustrates the simulation of 3-phase matrix converter using Space Vector Modulation (SVM). Variable AC output voltage engendered using matrix converter with bidirectional power switches controlled by appropriate switching pulse. The conventional PWM converter engenders switching common mode voltage across the load system terminals, which cause to common mode current and its leads to bearing failure in load drive. These problems can be rectified using SVM and which minimize the effect on the harmonic fluctuation in AC output voltage and stress on the power switch is reduced using bidirectional switch for proposed 3-phase matrix converter. The simulation results have been presented to validate the proposed system using matlab / simulink. 〈 /p 〉

    Kurzfassung: This paper revolves around the reduction of a number of switches and the sources for a multilevel inverter, for this, we have proposed a transformer-based topology which has helped us in reducing the number of switches from twenty-four to sixteen and also in the reduction of sources from eight to one. The circuit consists of two H-Bridges which are coupled by a single-phase transformer, the topology gives us a liberty of changing the number of levels in accordance to the number of turns in the secondary side of the transformer for example if our ratio is 1:1 the number of levels will be five subsequently if it is changed to 1:2 the number of levels will be changed to seven. As the number of switches is reduced the size and complexity of the circuit is also decreased. In order to improve on the part of switching efficiency, we have used space vector pulse width modulation which is a better method as compared to its counterpart switching methods such as sinusoidal pulse width modulation and multiple pulse width modulation techniques.

    Kurzfassung: Multilevel converters have a significant role in power processing control in the power system, which has some inherent features like reduced harmonics, high power & amp; medium voltage, reduced voltage stress. In this proposed paper, a novel multilevel inverter with reduced number of switches and without passive components. The proposed inverter generates 15 level output voltage with suitable switching pulse generation using multicarrier sinusoidal pulse width modulation (MSPWM) and different level of voltages are obtained with variation of modulation index. Also coupled inductor is used to minimize the harmonic content and smoothing output current. The scheme which includes different range of unequal voltage sources. As a result, the proposed system it reduces switching control complexity and there is no voltage balancing problem. This paper elucidates the operating modes, voltage stress minimisation and harmonic reduction are discussed. The results of the proposed multilevel dc-ac converter are verified using matlab/simulink. The simulation & amp; hardware results of the proposed inverter were verified using matlab simulink and dsPIC controller respectively, which was analysed with different voltage level and different modulation index.

    Kurzfassung: 〈 p 〉 The conventional system of irrigation how efficient and well managed it may be wastes up to 50% of the water supplied. purpose of this paper is to provide a user-oriented and standalone irrigation solution for soil monitoring and water conservation, based on network of sensor. Using the input from the user the system will act automatically. It not only reduce the water waste but also is cost efficient and easy to operate. Different parameters like soil moisture, temperature and humidity are imported in order to calculate the efficient quantity of water needed. This system uses different sensors like soil moisture sensor, humidity sensor and temperature sensor to take required data. In this paper, the proposed project uses sensor having low power consumption reducing load overall. The system also stores the input and uses it for forecasting. The concept of IoT is implied in this paper. The control of motors are automated powered by solar panels. The data is stored in table format. All data is accessible via internet. This system can help the user to gain vital data about the fields irrespective of the weather condition. 〈 /p 〉

    Kurzfassung: 〈 p 〉 In this paper a novel 5 switch seven level DC-AC inverter is being proposed. The proposed multilevel inverter uses reduced number of switches as compared to the switches used in the conventional multilevel inverter. The inverter has been designed to generate a 7 level AC output using 5 switches. The voltage stress on each of the switches as well as the switching losses is found to be less, minimized common mode voltage (CMV) level and reduced total harmonic distortion. The proposed 7-level inverter topology has four dc sources, which is energized through the PV system. Proposed inverter is controlled with help of multicarrier sinusoidal pulse width modulation (MCSPWM).The simulation and hardware results were verified using matlab simulink and dspic microcontroller respectively. 〈 /p 〉

    Kurzfassung: Unmanned and Autonomous Ground Vehicle (UAGV) is a smart vehicle that capable of doing tasks without the need of human operator. The automated vehicle can work during off and on road navigation and also used in military operation such as detecting bombs, border patrol, carrying cargos, search, rescue etc reducing soldier’s exposure to danger, freeing them to perform other duties. This type of vehicle mainly uses sensors to observe the environment and automatically take decisions on its own in unpredictable situation and with unknown information or pass this information to the operator who control the UAGV through various communication when it requires support. This UAGV can send visual feedbacks to the operator at the ground station. An onboard sensor gives the complete environment of the vehicle as signals to the operator.

    Kurzfassung: Electric vehicles are becoming more demanding these days. In this project the possibility of using Ackerman steering with electric drive servomotor is explained. Scalability is the advantage of using this mechanism which can be adopted for four-wheel vehicle system as well. The objective of this project is to do design a system using Ackerman steering which determines the maximum and minimum angle of the turning of the wheels. It also avoids the front tire slippage and activates pure rolling. Ackermann steering geometry is a geometric arrangement of linkages in the steering of a car or other vehicle designed to solve the problem of wheels on the inside and outside of a turn needing to trace out circles of different radii. The geometrical solution to this is for all wheels to have their axles arranged as radii of circles with a common centre point. As the rear wheels are fixed, this centre point must be on a line extended from the rear axle. Intersecting the axes of the front wheels on this line as well requires that the inside front wheel be turned, when steering, through a greater angle than the outside wheel. The microcontroller used in this project is ATMega16 andlmax232 is used for the serial data transmission.
