    Abstract: Beberapa penelitian terdahulu berhasil membuktikan bahwa produk mi instan yang diperkaya bayam menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan panelis yang cukup baik. Namun demikian, munculnya tambahan biaya akibat fortifikasi bayam yang secara langsung dapat mengakibatkan peningkatan harga produk, belum dikaji secara jelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan usaha dari mi bayam. Penelitian diawali dengan pembuatan mi bayam (mi dengan fortifikasi ekstrak bayam). Selanjutnya semua komponen biaya terkait operasional produksi mi bayam dicatat sebagai informasi dalam melakukan analisis Break Event Point (BEP) dan Benefit per Cost Ratio (B/C ratio). Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa harga pokok BEP produk sebesar 3 kemasan dengan rasio B/C sebesar 1,9. Dapat disimpulkan kegiatan usaha produksi mi bayam layak secara ekonomis untuk dijalankan ditinjau dari BEP dan B/C ratio. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberi informasi bahwa mi bayam berpotensi sebagai bisnis baru di bidang pangan fungsional khususnya diversifikasi produk olahan mi yang menyehatkan (mi fungsional).Business Potency of Spinach Noodle as a Product Diversification of Healthy NoodleAbstractPrevious study successfully proved that spinach fortified instant noodle showed a fairly good panelist preference. However, the emergence of additional costs due to spinach fortification which can directly lead to an increase in product prices has not been clearly assessed. This study was aimed to get more insight the level of business feasibility on the spinach noodle. Study was initiated by spinach noodle production (spinach extract fortified noodle). Furthermore, all of production cost was documented as data source for analyzing Break Event Point (BEP) and Benefit per Cost (B/C) ratio. The result showed that the cost of BEP product was 3 pack with B/C ratio equal to 1.9. It can be concluded that business activity of the spinach noodle was feasible economically to carry out. This study was expected to provide information about potency of spinach noodle as a new business in functional food field especially diversification of healthy noodle processed products (functional noodle).•••••

    Abstract: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tingkat pendapatan usahatani padi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor produksi yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani padi di Kecamatan Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari - Maret 2018 di Kecamatan Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode survei yaitu dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Penentuan jumlah responden menggunakan slovin dengan jumlah responden 100 petani yang diambil dari 8 desa yang ada di Kecamatan Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel yaitu dengan Quota Sampling dan Accidental Sampling. Quota Sampling digunakan untuk menentukan responden petani atas dasar jumlah atau jatah yang telah ditentukan dari setiap desa yang ada di Kecamatan Mlonggo. Accidental Sampling digunakan untuk menentukan responden petani sebanyak 100 petani secara langsung menemui petani yang berada di sawah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata produksi 1.947 kg/MT/0,5Ha. Rata-rata biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan oleh petani adalah Rp 7.529.623,-/0,5Ha. Rata-rata penerimaan petani padi adalah Rp 16.454.048,-/0,5Ha sehingga besar rata-rata pendapatan petani padi di Kecamatan Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara per musim taman adalah Rp 8.924.425,-/0,5Ha. Rata-rata pendapatan petani per bulan adalah Rp 1.487.404,- lebih rendah dibandingkan upah minimum regional (UMR) Kabupaten Jepara yaitu Rp 1.600.000,-. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan petani padi adalah biaya pestisida (X1) dan biaya lahan (X5). Sementara itu, faktor biaya pupuk (X2), biaya bibit dan tenaga kerja (X4) tidak mempengaruhi pendapatan petani padi di Kecamatan Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara.

    Abstract: This research aims to determine the performance and income of a closed-house broiler farm with partnership business model. The research was conducted in a closed broiler house owned by Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, Semarang, and in a partnership with Cemerlang Unggas Lestari Ltd. A total of 11,000 broilers were raised for each raising period in the closed broiler house. A case study method was used for this research. The data were collected using survey method; the primary data were collected directly through interviews with the farm operators and field observation. Secondary data were collected through data recording which includes production cost and obtained revenue in each raising period. The collected data were then analyzed through quantitative-descriptive study. A total 7 raising periods of production cost, revenue, and income in a year were analyzed. The results of this study showed that the average performances of closed-house broiler farm yield 0.37% depletion, 1.49 FCR, and 398.46 PI. The economic indicators showed that the average production cost was Rp292,668,800.00; which generated Rp327,300,779.00 revenue, Rp34,631,978.00 income, Rp183.055.535.00 NPV, and 1.24 BCR. The study concluded that the closed-house broiler farm generates higher income compared with the open house system.
