Conclusions 1. The telomerization of CH2=CCl2 with CCl3CH3, initiated by Fe(CO)5 in combination with i-PrOH or HMPA, leads to the formation of the telomers CH3CCl2(CH2CCl2)nCl (n=1, 2). 2. In the cotelomerization of propylene and CH2=CCl2 with CCl3CH3, initiated by the Fe(CO)5 −DMF system, both of the homotelomers are formed and only one cotelomer with two monomeric units: CH3CCl2CH2CCl2CH2CHClCH3.
