    Beschreibung: Underway bio-optical sensor measurements of chlorophyll a and turbidity were acquired along the cruise track of RV MARIA S. MERIAN cruise MSM97/2. Measurements were collected with two autonomous measurement systems (RSWS), which are located at 6.5 m below the sea surface. Usually, the RWS-System with measuring container 1 and 2 (MC1 and MC2) interchanged after 6 hours. Only en route data was collected and quality controlled. No data from stationary measurements (in situ) were included. Quality Control specifically for biogeochemical measurements had been applied.     Beschreibung: Underway chlorophyll-a and turbidity data were acquired during the SO287-CONNECT cruise on board the German Research Vessel SONNE. A detailed report describes the processing procedures, including scientific visualization and tabulation of the datasets. The SO287-CONNECT oceanographic campaign aimed to cross the North Atlantic Ocean from Las Palmas (Gran Canaria, Spain) to Guayaquil (Ecuador, in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean) between 11 December 2021 and 11 January 2022.
