Abstract: The aim of this study was to explore risk factors for the prognosis of lung cancer with simple brain metastasis (LCSBM) patients and to establish a prognostic predictive nomogram for LCSBM patients. Materials and methods Three thousand eight hundred and six cases of LCSBM were extracted from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database from 2010 to 2015 using SEER Stat 8.3.5. Lung cancer patients only had brain metastasis with no other organ metastasis were defined as LCSBM patients. Prognostic factors of LCSBM were analyzed with log-rank method and Cox proportional hazards model. Independent risk and protective prognostic factors were used to construct nomogram with accelerated failure time model. C-index was used to evaluate the prediction effect of nomogram. Results and conclusion The younger patients (18–65 years old) accounted for 54.41%, while patients aged over 65 accounted for 45.59%.The ratio of male: female was 1:1. Lung cancer in the main bronchus, upper lobe, middle lobe and lower lobe were accounted for 4.91%, 62.80%, 4.47% and 27.82% respectively; and adenocarcinoma accounted for 57.83% of all lung cancer types. The overall median survival time was 12.2 months. Survival rates for 1-, 3- and 5-years were 28.2%, 8.7% and 4.7% respectively. We found female (HR = 0.81, 95% CI 0.75–0.87), the married (HR = 0.80; 95% CI 0.75–0.86), the White (HR = 0.90, 95% CI 0.84–0.95) and primary site (HR = 0.45, 95% CI 0.39–0.52) were independent protective factors while higher age (HR = 1.51, 95% CI 1.40–1.62), advanced grade (HR = 1.19, 95% CI 1.12–1.25) and advanced T stage (HR = 1.09, 95% CI 1.05–1.13) were independent risk prognostic factors affecting the survival of LCSBM patients. We constructed the nomogram with above independent factors, and the C-index value was 0.634 (95% CI 0.622–0.646). We developed a nomogram with seven significant LCSBM independent prognostic factors to provide prognosis prediction.

Abstract: Salinity stress significantly affects the contents of bioactive constituents in licorice Glycyrrhiza uralensis . To elucidate the molecular mechanism underlying the difference in the accumulation of these constituents under sodium chloride (NaCl, salt) stress, licorice seedlings were treated with NaCl and then subjected to an integrated transcriptomic and metabolite profiling analysis. The transcriptomic analysis results identified 3,664 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) including transcription factor family MYB and basic helix-loop-helix ( bHLH ). Most DEGs were involved in flavonoid and terpenoid biosynthesis pathways. In addition, 121 compounds including a triterpenoid and five classes of flavonoids (isoflavone, flavone, flavanone, isoflavan, and chalcone) were identified, and their relative levels were compared between the stressed and control groups using data from the ultrafast liquid chromatography (UFLC)–triple quadrupole–time of flight–tandem mass spectrometry (TOF–MS/MS) analysis. Putative biosynthesis networks of the flavonoids and triterpenoids were created and combined with structural DEGs such as phenylalanine ammonia-lyase ( PAL ), 4-coumarate-CoA ligase [ 4CL ], cinnamate 4-hydroxylase [ C4H ], chalcone synthase [ CHS ], chalcone-flavanone isomerase [ CHI ], and flavonoid-3′,5′ hydroxylase ( F3 ′ ,5 ′ H ) for flavonoids, and CYP88D6 and CYP72A154 for glycyrrhizin biosynthesis. Notably, significant upregulation of UDP-glycosyltransferase genes ( UGT ) in salt-stressed licorice indicated that postmodification of glycosyltransferase may participate in downstream biosynthesis of flavonoid glycosides and triterpenoid saponins. Accordingly, the expression trend of the DEGs is positively correlated with the accumulation of glycosides. Our study findings indicate that key DEGs and crucial UGT genes co-regulate flavonoid and saponin biosynthesis in licorice under salt stress.

Abstract: Background: Lung cancer is the world's highest mortality and incidence rate of malignancy, and the prognosis survival rate is significantly lower than other tumors. A novel bio-physics based multi (pan)-cancer test technology named Cancer Differentiation Analysis Technology (CDA) has been developed and investigated for evaluating and monitoring lung cancer therapeutic responses. Methods: A total of 686 patients diagnosed with different sub-types of lung cancer were included in this study. CDA levels were concurrently measured in peripheral blood obtained from 686 patients during the treatment. According to the response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (RECIST) 1.1 standard, the efficacy of 686 patients after treatment was evaluated, and the diagnostic efficacy of CDA technology was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results: Clinical pathological parameters of the patients are listed in Table 1. The higher the CDA value, the worse the curative effect. CDA value of lung cancer in CR (complete response) group was significantly lower than that in other 3 groups (p & lt;0.05). CDA value of adenocarcinoma lung cancer in CR group were significantly lower than that in SD (stable disease) group (p & lt;0.05). For non - metastatic lung cancer, CDA value in CR group was significantly lower than that in SD group (p & lt;0.05) The receiver ROC analysis showed that the area under curve (AUC) of lung cancer group, NSCLC group, adenocarcinoma lung cancer group, were 0.756, 0.772, and 0.792, respectively. The AUC of early lung cancer group, and non - metastatic lung cancer group were 0.794, and 0.851. Conclusions: CDA appears to have the ability to predict and monitor therapeutic responses to lung cancer surgery and chemotherapy treatments. In most cases, the CDA of CR patients is low, and there is a good correlation between CDA and curative effect in early lung cancer. CDA could be a potential candidate for evaluating lung cancer, especially for early stage lung cancer therapeutic response. Abstract: The coordinated development of agriculture and tourism is very important. On the basis of the index system of the predecessors, the development effect index after the integration of the subsystems is added, so as to construct the evaluation index system of the integrated development of agriculture and tourism in Inner Mongolia. The entropy weight method is used to set the weight value for each index, and the panel data from 2001 to 2019 collected from the Inner Mongolia Statistical Yearbook and the China Yearbook are analyzed with the coupled coordination degree model. The research results show that the development of agriculture and tourism in Inner Mongolia has been highly coupled since 2004; it has been reluctantly coordinated from 2007 until 2019 to achieve high-quality coordination; from 2001 to 2011, the development of tourism lagged behind the development of agriculture, while after 2012, the development of agriculture has been lagging behind the tourism industry. Wang (Asia Pac J Tour Res 24(6):550–562, 2019), Li and Du (Sustainability 13(10), 2021) had got similar conclusions. The article puts forward suggestions from two aspects. On the one hand, using the tourism as the trigger for the development of agriculture tourism by developing more agricultural-related tourism products so as to fully tap the tourism attributes of agriculture. The marketing of tourism products should be consciously inclined to agriculture; on the other hand, the promoting the development of tourism can be realized by adopting modern agriculture, which includes cultivating new types of large agricultural households, supporting the development of large and medium-sized farms, promoting the development of green agriculture and industrialized and three-dimensional agriculture. The modern agriculture can be deeply integrated with the tourism industry, thereby promoting the development of tourism. The research results and suggestions put forward in this paper have certain reference significance for the coordinated development of agriculture and tourism in Inner Mongolia and Southeast Asia.

Abstract: Spica Prunellae is an important Chinese herbal medicine. Because of its good curative effect on various diseases, this herb is consumed in large quantities in clinical applications. The metabolites of Spica Prunellae are known to change under salt stress; however, the difference in protein levels of Spica Prunellae between saline and normal conditions is unclear. In this study, we used proteomics techniques to identify differentially expressed proteins in Spica Prunellae under different saline conditions. (iTRAQ) MS/MS was used to detect statistically significant changes in protein between salt stress and normal conditions. Ultimately, we detected 1,937 proteins, 89 of which were detected in two different comparison. Based on GO, STRING and KEGG analyses, 35 significantly differentially expressed proteins were selected for further analysis. The results of functional and signal pathway analyses indicated that the cellular protein and carbohydrate metabolism of Spica Prunellae was weaker, calcium ion transport was higher, photosynthesis was higher, and protein production was faster under saline conditions than under normal conditions. This study provides useful information for studying the causes of differences in secondary metabolites in Spica Prunellae under salt stress and the protein mechanisms related to their quality.
