Abstract:
The samples, thin crystalline films of metallophthalocyanines polymer, have been prepared epetaxially by condensation polymerization of the monomer sublimed onto a newly-cleaved and degassed face of NaCl single crystal,at a constant temperature 440°C and in a dynamic vacuum about several Pa. The polymerization reaction equation is as follow; nM(Pc)(OH) 2 —[M(Pc)O] n + nH 2 O where M=Si ,Ge. [M(Pc)O] n are a row-dimensional electronic conductive polymer. Its electrical conductivity can he as high as several (Ωcm) -1 after iodine-doping. This make it possibly become a hopeful functional polymer material which meet some special need. The crystal data were determined X-Ray diffraction; The investigation indicate that phthalocyanine rings tend to stack themselves up in the way in which they are parallel to each other and form molecular columns of rigid chains in [001] direction during the process of crystal growth.
