Abstract: The MARG sensor, which stands for the combination of a magnetometer, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope, is widely used for 3D attitude measurement. Among the mainstream solutions for MARG-based attitude estimation, the complementary filter (CF) is normally regarded as a simplified alternative to the Kalman filter (KF), mainly because CF can reduce the amount of calculations. A dual-vector discrete-time CF (DV-DTCF) and its tuning methods are introduced in this paper. Different from the quaternion-based attitude estimation algorithms, DV-DTCF has a linear measurement model, since it utilizes the gravity and geomagnetic vectors as its state variables instead of quaternions. This feature of DV-DTCF can avoid linearization error or the use of nonlinear algorithms, and can also greatly reduce its computational complexity. More interestingly, it is analytically revealed, and experimentally proven, that the proposed DV-DTCF is fully equivalent to a fixed-gain KF. This fascinating fact leads straightforwardly to the tuning methods of DV-DTCF via the corresponding fixed-gain KF and Riccati equation. These tuning methods of DV-DTCF are based on the statistic characteristics of MARG sensor noise, and that makes them solid and feasible. According to experimental results, DV-DTCF can achieve the same accuracy as that of commonly-used KF algorithms in MARG-based attitude estimation, but with much lower time consumption. Hence, the proposed DV-DTCF is especially suitable for applications that have strict limitations on computational costs.

Abstract: Recent patents and progress on scan chain balance algorithms have been reviewed. With a significant increase of the SoC (System on Chip) integration and scale, the test time of SoC increase dramatically, and this makes the test cost of SoC grow rapidly. In order to reduce test cost and expense, the paper proposes an OBBO (Opposition-based learning and Biogeography Based Optimization) algorithm and designs wrapper scan chains for the IP(Intellectual Property) using OBBO algorithm, which can make wrapper scan chains equilibration so that we can make the test time of IP be minimum. The new method is a random optimization algorithm which combines BBO (Biogeography Based Optimization) algorithm with OBL (Opposition-based learning). By using migration operation, mutation operation and OBL operation, we achieve a balance between different wrapper chains so that we can shorten the wrapper scan chain which is longest. Experimental results show that OBBO can obtain shorter longest wrapper scan chain in most case and at the same time the convergence speed can be faster.

Abstract: With the development of DNA Self-Assembly, several phenomena have happened and been discovered, which maybe lead to faulty crystals or patterns with faults. Among those unexpected phenomena, rotated tiles and symmetrical tiles have still not been discussed in detail. There is also no such research that compares the effect of rotated tiles and symmetrical tiles on Binary Counter in DNA SelfAssembly This paper compares and analyses the effect of rotated tiles and symmetrical tiles on binary counter in DNA Self-Assembly. The precise relationship between rotated tiles and symmetrical tiles is achieved taking into account the type of rotated tiles and symmetrical tiles. Experimental simulation results through Xgrow prove that the comparison and analysis is effective and correct.

Abstract: Three-dimensional attitude estimation for unmanned aerial vehicles is usually based on the combination of magnetometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope (MARG). But MARG sensor can be easily affected by various disturbances, for example, vibration, external magnetic interference, and gyro drift. Optical flow sensor has the ability to extract motion information from image sequence, and thus, it is potential to augment three-dimensional attitude estimation for unmanned aerial vehicles. But the major problem is that the optical flow can be caused by both translational and rotational movements, which are difficult to be distinguished from each other. To solve the above problems, this article uses a gated recurrent unit neural network to implement data fusion for MARG and optical flow sensors, so as to enhance the accuracy of three-dimensional attitude estimation for unmanned aerial vehicles. The proposed algorithm can effectively make use of the attitude information contained in the optical flow measurements and can also achieve multi-sensor fusion for attitude estimation without explicit mathematical model. Compared with the commonly used extended Kalman filter algorithm for attitude estimation, the proposed algorithm shows higher accuracy in the flight test of quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles.

Abstract: Both CT and PET radiomics is considered as a potential prognostic biomarker in head and neck cancer. This study investigates the value of fused pre-treatment functional imaging (18F-FDG PET/CT) radiomics for modeling of local recurrence of head and neck cancers. Material and Methods: Firstly, 298 patients have been divided into a training set (n = 192) and verification set (n = 106). Seco ndly, PETs and CTs are fused based on wavelet transform. Thirdly, radiomics features are extracted from the 3D tumor area from PETCT fusion. The training set is used to select the features reduction and predict local recurrence, and the random forest prediction models combining radiomics and clinical variables are constructed. Finally, the ROC curve and KM analysis are used to evaluate the prediction efficiency of the model on the validation set. Results: Two PET/CT fusion radiomics features and three clinic parameters are extracted to construct the radiomics model. AUC value in the verification set 0.70 is better than no fused sets 0.69. The accuracy of 0.66 is not the highest value (0.67). Either consistency index CI 0.70 (from 0.67 to 0.70) or the p-value 0.025 (from 0.03 to 0.025) get the best result in all four models. Conclusion: The radiomics model based on the fusion of PETCT is better than the model based on PET or CT alone in predicting local recurrence, the inclusion of clinical parameters may result in more accurate predictions, which has certain guiding significance for the development of personalized, precise treatment scheme.

Abstract: In order to solve the existing problems of time‐interleaved data acquisition system's poor scalability, limited acquisition channels, and complicated clock system based on System on Chip(SoC), this work presents a novel method of high‐speed data acquisition based on Network on Chip (NoC) communication architecture and time‐interleaved principle. Six analog‐to‐digital data acquisition resource nodes are hooked up to the NoC according to the unified features of NoC router interface. The data acquisition controller controls the time‐interleaved acquisition's timing sequences and realizes the remote transmission of data through two Gigabit Ethernet resource nodes. Adding timestamp to the collected data of each channel can recover the waveform signal accurately. The experiment results show that the combination of NoC communication architecture and time‐interleaved data acquisition has a certain innovative significance.
