First long‐term eddy covariance measurements over the high‐altitude saline lake on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau Warm and cold air mass had contrasting effects on the surface energy flux and evaporation over the lake Nighttime evaporative water losses were substantial, contributing to 47.7% of the total evaporative water loss
