Abstract:
The problems of optimizing the lattice of the Kharkov Pulse Stretcher Ring PSR-2000, intended for use as a source of synchrotron radiation, are considered. Calculations of the dynamic aperture in the presence of sextupole magnets that compensate the natural machine chromaticity are made with due account of the reference orbit corrections and magnetic field perturbations up to the third order. The program of synchrotron radiation investigations using the PSR-2000 as a base is also discussed.
