Abstract: In this study, we emphasised the anti-icing effects of the two-scale structure fabricated on Ecoflex thin film in several criteria for icephobic applications. The functional thin film was achieved by combining the low surface tension lubricant with a hierarchical structure, which was generated by the dry ion etching method. The anti-icing performance including adhesion strength, ice repellency, and durability was then compared with as-received substrate and non-slippery surface to demonstrate the superiority of two-scale texture in all mentioned criteria. The slippery hierarchical thin film exhibited outstanding performance with extremely low ice-surface adhesion strength, high ice repellency, and durability. This offers a new facile approach and proposed a unique design for icephobic applications such as wild shields, smart devices, cooling systems, and other outdoor equipment

Abstract: "Cam" rice bran was considered a waste product from rice, which is rich in natural compounds and protein owing to its outstanding nutritional value. This study aimed to establish an optimization model for extracting protein from rice bran, with two responses: extraction yield (%) and protein content (%). The variable parameters included were pH (8.5-9.5), stirring time (3.5-4.5 h), and enzyme incubation temperature (85-95°C). The coefficient of determination for both models were above 0.95, indicating a high correlation between the actual and estimated values. The maximum extraction yield and protein content were achieved when the conditions were set at pH of 9.02, stirring time of 4.02 h, and extraction temperature of 90.6°C. Under these optimum conditions, the predicted protein extracted from rice bran was 43.03% (moisture 〈 13.0%), with an extraction yield of 15.9%. The findings of this study suggested that this protocol can enhance the utilization of rice bran and might be employed on a large scale in the food industry to exploit the nutritional source.

Abstract: This paper studies the crystallization process and structure of amorphous iron nanoparticles by molecular dynamics method. The study shows that amorphous iron nanoparticles could not be crystallized at 300 K and 500 K. Iron nanoparticle, annealed at 900 K over a long time, was crystallized into a BCC crystal structure. The structure of crystallized iron nanoparticle at 900 K was analyzed through the pair radial distribution function and the number of crystal atoms upon various regions in nanoparticles. The simulation revealed that the first nuclei was formed most frequently in the area near the surface of the nanoparticle. Then the crystal cluster grew toward the centre of the nanoparticle. The completely crystallized nanoparticle had two components: the core with a BCC crystal structure and surface with an amorphous structure. As for the amorphous nanoparticle at 300 or 500 K, crystal-clusters were too small to grow large enough to crystallize the nanoparticle.   Keywords Iron nanoparticle, crystallize, annealing, crystal atom, crystal cluster. Abstract: Background and Aims: To describe the clinical characteristics and evaluate the results of office hysteroscopy in patients with recurrent implantation failure at Tam Anh General Hospital. Methods: A descriptive study on 151 patients at Tam Anh General Hospital who had failed embryo transfer twice or more consecutively was carried out from January 2021 to March 2023. Results: 151 patients were included in the study, 41,1% of which had unexplained infertility. The mean age and duration of infertility were 34,5 ± 5,2 years and 5,7 ± 3,4 years, respectively. 55,0% of patients exhibited uterine cavity abnormalities during office hysteroscopy, with the most common is endometritis accounting for 29.8%. The median time to perform the procedure was 3 (2) minutes, the mean VAS pain score was 3,2 ± 1,1 points. No complications related to office hysteroscopy were noted. Conclusions: A office hysteroscopy was able to detect intrauterine pathologies which were missed by other investigative modalities. In individuals who have experienced repeated implantation failure, office hysteroscopy is a safe and practical approach that should be recognized as a crucial tool for intrauterine evaluation.

Abstract: The appearance of antibiotic sulfamethoxazole (SMX) in natural environments poses a potential risk to human health and ecology. Among many developed treatment techniques to remove and degrade SMX from an aqueous environment, photodegradation using the phase-pure TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) in brookite structure as an active photocatalyst could be considered as a novel and effective strategy. The photocatalytic degradation of SMX in aqueous media followed an apparent first-order kinetics under the simulated UV-A irradiation. The higher the photocatalysts load, the higher photocatalytic efficiency. The SMX photodegradation over brookite nanoparticles depended on the pH of the SMX solution that was related to changes in chemical isomers of SMX molecules in the range of pH values between 2.0 and 10.0. The degradation efficiency was highest at pH 10.0 (up to 88 % after 180 min under UV-A irradiation) when SMX was in anionic form. With real matrices, the presence of metal ions (in mineral water) and fact-finding organic matter (in surface water) had a small effect on photodegradation efficiency due to either the complexation between SMX with metal ions or the inhibition of free radicals. The obtained results confirmed that the nano-sized TiO2 brookite photocatalyst has a high potential for water and wastewater remediation.

Abstract: Kinetics of water removal and total soluble solid (TSS) content change of black cherry tomato (cv. OG) sauce by rotary vacuum evaporation (RVE) were investigated. The effect of different vacuum conditions (vacuum levels and boiling temperatures of 500 mmHg - 80oC, 550 mmHg - 75oC, 600 mmHg - 70oC and 650 mmHg - 65oC) during evaporation /concentration was examined. Tomatoes puree with an initial TSS of 13.47±0.18oBrix was concentrated to 39.83±0.30oBrix. There was a linear relationship between water removal and time during the concentration of black cherry tomato sauce by RVE. The TSS change of tomato sauce during the concentration was applied to three exponential mathematical models (two-parameter, three-parameter, and four-parameter). In studying the consistency of all models, some statistical indicators, namely the coefficient of determination (R2), the chi-square (χ2) as well as the root mean square error (RMSE) were considered. Among the models, the three-parameter exponential model was proven to best describe the concentration behavior of the tomato sauce using rotary vacuum evaporation with the highest R2, the lowest χ2, and the lowest RMSE. The validation with the experimental data at other vacuum levels had also confirmed the consistency of the selected model. This knowledge is very important for process optimization and product quality improvement.
