Abstract:
The characterization of polarity-independent electroluminescent cells based on the heterostructure of a conducting polymer, a soluble para carbazolyl substituted poly(diphenylacetylene) (PDPA-Cz), and buckminsterfullerene, C 60 , is reported. The operation of the devices under reverse direct-current (dc) bias is discussed in terms of interfacial charge transfer between PDPA-Cz and C 60 .
