Abstract: Introduction: PIVCs (Peripheral Intravenous Catheters) have been widely used for clinical medical care which is having risk for phlebitis occurence. IV catheter replacement is performed when there is clinical indication such us phlebitis. The consequence of this action is patient convinence, nurse workload and patient care cost efficiency. Methode: A longitudinal study with experimental results of evidence based practice on replacement of PIVSc with clinical indication  as an effort to improve patient convinience, cost efficiency and reduce nurse workload in 41 patients. Result: 41 patients attached PIVCs, 100% wanted IV catheter replacement if there was any clinical indication. 68% of patients said very uncomfortable if IV catheter routinely replaced. 16 nurse (56.25%) said there is no need to replace IV catheter regularly. 43.75% of nurses felt IV catheters rountine replacement increased the working time and 50% of the nurses felt that nurses workload was increased. Conclusions: IV catheter replacement can be performed if there is cinical indication because it can improve patient convenience, increase cost efficiency and reduce nurse workload.

Abstract: Fish protein concentrate (FPC) is a concentrated protein derived from fish meat and its characteristics are highly dependent on the methods of preparation used. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different preparation treatments on the physico-chemical properties of niletilapia (Oreochromisniloticus) fish protein concentrate. The nile tilapia used. Was collected alive from shrimp ponds in Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The fish was then filleted, red meat trimmed and white meat was chopped in a commercial food processor and stored in a zipped plastic bags at – 20°C until used. The meat was divided into two groups for treatments of pressing and unpressing. The pressed and unpressed chopped meat was then washed with 90% ethanol (1:2 or 1:4, w/v) for 20, 40 and 60 min. to remove lipid and pigments. The treated meat was then dried overnight in a forced-air convection oven. The dried nile tilapia FPC was then analysed for its physico-chemical characteristics. The results indicated that the preparation treatments significantly affected the characteristics of the nile tilapia FPC. The best results from each treatment showed characteristics according to FAO standards (1976) namely the ratio of washing ratio 2:1 with an extraction time of 60 minutes and the variation of the sample before extraction was pressed having a chemical composition of 85.32% protein, 0.55% fat, water content of 11.91% and ash content of 1.25%. And the physical characteristics include 85.9% whiteness, 2.43 g/ml water absorption and 2.37 g/ml oil absorption. The results of this study indicated that the tilapia fish FPC is classified as type A FPC and is well applied to food ingredients.

Abstract: This article is the result of a study of leadership practices at IAIN Kendari, which focused on two aspects: 1) leadership practices in determining the direction and explaining the big picture of IAIN Kendari; and 2) leadership practices in formulating IAIN Kendari’s development strategy. The following findings were obtained through qualitative research using the narrative method: First, IAIN Kendari’s vision states that the institute will ”become a center for transdisciplinary studies in Asia by 2045.” Current leadership practices, however, do not appear to be in sync with this vision, which is still hazy. Second, routinely oriented leadership practices have not yet reached the depths of IAIN Kendari’s long history to produce new breakthroughs and innovations, and the role of the leader as a transformer of IAIN Kendari’s vision has not yet materialized into real policies and actions. Keywords: leadership, strategy, transdisciplinary vision, quality of education

Abstract: Abstrak. Selama periode 2014-2018 terjadinya air berlebih(surplus) padaDAS Krueng Manggengsehingga mampu memenuhi kebutuhan air domestik, kebutuhan air peternakan dan kebutuhan air irigasi. Adapun air yang berlebih pada DAS Krueng Manggengpada tahun 2014 senilai 1.593,51mm/tahun, pada tahun 2015 senilai 1.791,77 mm/tahun, pada tahun 2016 senilai 2.544,14mm/tahun, pada tahun 2017 senilai 2.893mm/tahun dan pada tahun 2018 senilai 3.730,84mm/tahun.Water Balance Analysis of Krueng Manggeng watershedAbstract. This study aims to analyze the water balance of Krueng Manggeng watershed by knowing the water availability and water requirement in the area. Water balance calculation is done to determine the condition of an area before the management of water resources in the Krueng Manggeng watershed after it meets daily domestic and irrigation needs. Climatologic and demographic data for the 2014-2018 period were used in this study. Based on the research it is known that the water potential of the Krueng Manggeng watershed from rainfall calculated using the algebraic method, while the highest water availability occurred in 2018 valued at 4.600 m/year while the smallest occurred in 2015 valued at 3.351 mm/year used for daily needs day. Water balance analysis is carried out by reducing the availability of water (input) in the form of rainfall with daily water requirements (output) in the study area. In the 2014-2018 period, there was excess water (surplus) in the Krueng Manggeng watershed so that it was able to meet domestic water needs for livestock water needs and irrigation water needs. The excess water in the Krueng Manggeng watershed in 2014 was 1.593,51 mm/year, in 2015 it was 1.791,77 mm/year, in 2016 it was 2.544,14 mm/year, in 2017 it was 2.893 mm/year, in 2018 it was worth 3.730,84 mm/year.
