    Kurzfassung: Computer Numerical Control (CNC) vertical milling is a cutting tool of a work piece by giving CNC G-code program to the milling machine to give the chisel end mill perpendicular to the surface of the work piece. The distance between overhang tool and holder is usually not standard causing the end mill chisel experience minimum and maximum deflection during the cutting process. This research observed the cutting and measuring the surface roughness of the specimen made of BJ37 mild steel. It is of a square shape with a rectangular cross-section cutting parameters of overhang groove, vibration and feeding from the left, the middle, and the right surface. Measurement was done by testing the surface roughness under the conditions of changing the overhang groove, vibration, and small feeding. The observations result in smaller deflection and angle to obtain Ra = 1.64 μm average minimum level of roughness using 25mm overhang with the same feeding of 0.18mm/rev. Ra = 1.64 μm is classified into Group N7 smooth, compared to the use standard 35mm overhang which obtains Ra = 1.88 μm, Group N7 normal. The minimum level of roughness can be obtained due to the smaller feeding.

    Kurzfassung: Tempering is a heating treatment process to improve the elasticity with a little hardness. It is reheating the steel that has been hardened under the critical temperature of 723 o C and applying a holding time at that temperature, then cooling the steel in the air outside. The hardening was followed by gradual tempering process at different temperatures of 650°C, 550 o C and 450°C at 60, 120, and 180-minute holding times. The tempering process resulted in hard and tough not easily broken or worn tool steel. Besides, it improves the tensile strength and increases the durability of tool against collision. Tukey, Fisher Pairwise Comparison and Dunnet Method were applied to obtain Grouping Information data of 93%. Observations on eight tempering treatment processes show not only treatments 4, 5 and 6 (tempering with time delay) but also gradual tempering (in which the process was done some times by gradually dropping the temperature) resulted in better performance. Further observation was conducted in terms of the variation of dropping temperature and the most optimum holding time of the tempering process. Processes 7 and 8 (tempering without time delay) are not recommended, as the hardness value drops sharply, high vibration occurs when machining, and the cutting results in high roughness value.

    Kurzfassung: Injection molding is the process of molding products with various shapes and sizes from plastic materials. The problem that often arises is the presence of product defects due to shrinkage. In this regard, the effect of water cooling on product size shrinkage in the injection molding process of making acetabular cups with polypropylene plastic and metal steel mold materials will be investigated through experimental investigations. The test begins with the manufacture of molds and injection machines, then the PP liquid plastic is injected twice into the mold, the first with cooling and the second without cooling. Both products are compared for depreciation by measurement. Shrinkage analysis is done by measuring the height and diameter of the product which is then compared with the size of the mold, so that final conclusions can be drawn. Measurement of shrinkage on the outside of the product is taken from three directions, namely the height of the X-axis product (dx), the outside diameter of the Y-axis product (dy), and the outside diameter of the Z-axis product (hz). For the inside of the product with a hemispherical shape, the shrinkage measurement is calculated by calculating the volume which can then be found the average radius. The results showed that the average shrinkage of the cooling test on the X axis = 1.224 %, on the Y axis = 1.857 %, on the Z axis = 1.83%, and on the radius r = 0.825 %. The average shrinkage of the test without cooling on the X axis = 1,591 %, on the Y axis = 2,32%, on the Z axis = 2,369 %, and on the radius r = 1,267 %.     Kurzfassung: Teaching techniques and basic movement skills in sports to a large number of students requires a method that can cover the activity of all students in participating in the learning process. Also included in teaching basketball techniques, students must be active as a whole in receiving the material, especially if the material is in the form of mastering the basic skills and techniques of one sport. The teacher who plays the role of a researcher here wants to improve students' skills in practicing basketball shooting through the demonstration method. In the pre-cycle, an observation score of 48 was obtained, meaning that the students' basketball shooting skills were not good. Furthermore, researchers feel it is so important to carry out research using demonstration methods. In the first cycle, the observation results showed a score of 111, meaning that the students' basketball shooting skills were quite good. However, to make it more conducive for students' basketball shooting skills, the researchers wanted to carry out cycle II. In the second cycle, the observation results showed a score of 145, meaning that the students' basketball shooting skills were very good. In the student observation activity, the teacher assessed that students can make one-handed shots (One-hand Set Shot), students can do free throws (Free Throw), students can shoot while jumping (Jump shot), students can do hook shots ( Hook Shot) and students can do a Lay Up.

    Kurzfassung: According to the Air Quality Live Index (AQLI), Indonesia's air quality has continued to deteriorate in the last two decades, so Indonesia is officially ranked 17th as the country with the worst air quality in the world. This is due to the population explosion in Indonesia causing industrial activity to also increase. The high levels of exhaust emissions in vehicles, of course, requires the need for technology to measure vehicle exhaust gases to reduce the impact of air pollution. However, the procurement of exhaust emission test equipment is still expensive, so only certain class workshops have this tool. In addition, the reading results of the vehicle's OBD (On Board Diagnostic) system are only able to display the condition or reading value of the Lambda sensor because other gas sensors readings such as CO2, HC, and CO cannot be displayed on the OBD reading results. The purpose of this study is to describe the design of the tool and the results of measuring CO and HC levels through the Blynk application. Research methods that use several gas sensors, such as MQ-7 and TGS-2602 (CO gas) and MQ-2 and TGS-2611 (HC gas), are then compared with the measurement results of a standard gas analyzer. The results showed that the MQ-7 value is close to the accuracy at 1000 rpm and 5000 rpm, namely 99.68% and 99.49%, while the level of accuracy at 3000 rpm is 99.37%. The TGS-2602 sensor at 1000 rpm only has the best accuracy and accuracy, namely 99.67% and 99.77%. The level of accuracy of the MQ-2 sensor has the best value at 1000 rpm rotation, which is 95.71% and the level of accuracy has the highest value at 7000 rpm rotation, which is 100%. For the level of accuracy of the TGS-2611 sensor, it has an accuracy level of 1000 rpm rotation of 94.65% and the level of accuracy of the sensor obtains very good values ​​at 1000 rpm, 7000 rpm, and 9000 rpm rotation of 100%.
