Abstract: The purpose of the study is to analyze certain legal problems in the development of the administrative-legal institution for preventing and resolving conflicts of interest in the healthcare sector. This article is based on an interdisciplinary approach using methods of analysis and synthesis, as well as comparative legal, dialectical and systemic methods. The concept of "prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest in the field of health care" is proposed, and the design of "administrative-legal institution for the prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest in the field of health care" is defined and its types are established. The analysis of the concept of "conflict of interest" in the scientific literature, national and international legal documents, in the legislation of foreign countries was carried out, the definition of "conflict of interest in the field of healthcare" was proposed. It has been established that in the legislation of certain foreign countries, the legal provision of a conflict of interest in the field of health care is carried out at the level of a special law "On Conflict of Interest", or provided for in laws on the prevention of corruption, or (in some states) also in a regulatory legal act in the field of health care. The elements of a conflict of interest in the field of healthcare (real or potential) are disclosed, their content is clarified. The elements of a conflict of interest in the field of healthcare (real or potential) are disclosed, their content is clarified. Two ways of resolving a conflict of interest in the healthcare sector have been identified: external and independent. It is established that the prevention and resolution of conflicts of interest in the healthcare sector consists of the following components: (1) prevention, (2) informing, (3) refraining from actions or decisions, and (4) settlement.

Abstract: The effective operation of any company in the market is necessarily related to the analysis of consumer behavior. At the time of constant transformational changes in society, unpredictable risks that arise in the country, the question of understanding the theory of consumer behavior and the possibility of influencing it with the help of available resources is relevant. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence of the concept of consumer behavior and the main elements that influence the customer’s choice, as well as how to correct behavior and minimize losses during a crisis and martial law. The development of society inevitably affects consumers, their needs are transformed, improved, and costs to satisfy these needs increase. Therefore, consumer behavior is changing and companies need to adapt to new conditions. The process of making purchase decisions, as a rule, takes place under the influence of various factors. This makes appropriate adjustments, facilitates or hinders the adoption of balanced decisions. The main factors that influence purchase decisions. The latest challenge was the coronavirus pandemic, which also affected consumer behavior and made quite a few adjustments. Due to the threat to health and the imposed restrictions, people’s habits, the frequency and places of purchases, the structure and volumes of consumption, the needs of the population and, in general, the behavior of consumers have changed. Now, not only merchandising, but the functioning of the country’s economy in general, satisfaction of consumer needs during the war is an urgent issue. Since the market was quite complicated by the consequences of the pandemic, consumer behavior was strongly influenced by military actions. It is worth noting that even during the war, Ukrainian companies show a high level of customer service that even some European companies cannot provide. Most from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion restored customer support, and later returned, and some even introduced discount systems and personal bonus systems. Government policy was also aimed at supporting users, interest charges, fines and penalties were abolished, which enabled the population to withstand the period of economic shock. In the period of such unpredictable global changes, increased risks, consumer behavior undergoes a noticeable transformation. However, companies constantly monitor the situation and show that they are well aware of the needs of their customers and can adapt to modern trends, thereby supporting the economy of the country and their consumers.

Abstract: Strategic adaptation is one of the effective approaches of enterprise management, which is based on implementing safety-oriented management, taking into account current dangers, threats and risks. First, such adaptation is associated with changes in the enterprise management system, aimed at establishing appropriate communications between the structural divisions of the enterprise, the distribution of authorities and responsibility for making decisions, counteracting the opportunistic behavior of employees due to changes in the organizational structure of the enterprise management. In the process of research, the use of L. Greiner's Model of Organizational Change was proposed (for a generalized picture of the sequence of organizational changes), and the Change Curve Model by J. Duck was adapted (when developing a fundamental sequence of measures to identify the main causes of workers' resistance and choose ways to counter it). This allows optimizing the processes of strategic adaptation within the safety oriented approach of enterprise management.

Abstract: Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) causes various vascular and blood-related reactions, including exacerbated responses. The role of endothelial cells in this acute response is remarkable and may remain important beyond the acute phase. As we move into a post-COVID-19 era (where most people have been or will be infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus), it is crucial to define the vascular consequences of COVID-19, including the long-term effects on the cardiovascular system. Research is needed to determine whether chronic endothelial dysfunction following COVID-19 could lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular and thrombotic events. Endothelial dysfunction could also serve as a diagnostic and therapeutic target for post-COVID-19. This review covers these topics and examines the potential of emerging vessel-on-a-chip technology to address these needs. Vessel-on-a-chip would allow for the study of COVID-19 pathophysiology in endothelial cells, including the analysis of SARS-CoV-2 interactions with endothelial function, leukocyte recruitment, and platelet activation. “Personalization” could be implemented in the models through induced pluripotent stem cells, patient-specific characteristics, or genetic modified cells. Adaptation for massive testing under standardized protocols is now possible, so the chips could be incorporated for the personalized follow-up of the disease or its sequalae (long COVID) and for the research of new drugs against COVID-19.

Abstract: The guarantee of ensuring the right to access public information is an important condition and criterion for functioning in a legal democratic state. In addition, realizing the right to access public information is essential for preventing and detecting corruption. The purpose of this work is to analyze international legal rules and standards, as well as to provide some examples of the practice of the European Court of Human Rights in the context of the implementation of the right to access public information. It has been established that the right to access public information is a component of the human right to information and is a fundamental constitutional human right. The existing practice of the European Court of Human Rights confirms the importance of protecting the right of access to public information. It indicates to states that it is mandatory to comply with it, the expediency of applying an effective system of control measures to implement the right under study. The paper analyzes theoretical and legal approaches to understanding the human right to access public information and determines its place in human rights. An analysis of the practice of the European Court of Human Rights regarding the right to access public information made it possible to identify existing shortcomings in the legislation of the Member States and Ukraine and to find ways and methods for solving such problems and prospects for preventing such violations in the future, as well as the possibility of applying the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights to improve the current domestic legislation in this area.

Abstract: The article analyzes the use of stylistic means in contemporary American novels about the challenges of postmodern society, such as terrorist attacks, loneliness in digital reality, and digital technologies. Descriptive, continuous sampling, dictionary definitions, and contextual and component analysis methods were used to analyze the language material from novels by Douglas Coupland and Don DeLillo. The analyzed stylistic units were diverse and characterized by an emotional and evaluative component, with negative assessments being the most common. The units were divided into thematic groups, such as drugs, money, human behavior, and success/failure. The place and role of stylistic units in the novels were related to their content and stylistic features, with colloquial lexical items playing a significant role in creating a special atmosphere. The study also identified prospects for analyzing current trends in the development of English spoken language based on the works of contemporary American authors. The article concludes that excerpts from the analyzed novels can be used in the study of professional terminology and in seminars on the course "Features of literary translation" to help students compare online terminology and Internet jargon in English and Ukrainian. The Internet as an object of fiction and the use of these works of fiction in teaching English deserve further study.
