Abstract: The article presents the results of studies to identify possible intravital markers of bone metabolism in fast-growing meat crosses. As a result of the research it was determined that the introduction of mineral components containing calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and silicon into the feed of broiler chickens on the background of the diet balanced in biologically active substances helps to activate the processes of biological synthesis in bone tissue, normalize its mineral component with a high degree of silicon assimilation and also increases the stability of the bones of the lower limbs of broiler chickens. It has been proved that in order to monitor the prevention and treatment of dyschondroplasia in meat poultry, it is necessary to use in vivo biochemical markers of bone tissue metabolism, which allow carrying out early and accurate diagnosis of bone diseases in poultry.

Abstract: The article studies the trends of quantitative changes in social class in Ukraine as an important factor of sustainable socio-economic development. The use of a complex criterion for determining the core of the middle class in the population structure is substantiated. It takes into account the level of income, self-identification, and qualitative characteristics. The article proves the hypothesis of conformity of the distribution of households by average per capita equivalent income to the theoretical log-normal distribution. The paper provides the quantitative characteristics of the impact of digitalization on the size of the middle class, determines the consequences of distribution of information technology for its existence. The main directions and tools for influence are proposed to ensure the conditions for the formation, development, and growth of the middle class in modern society, and to achieve a high level of economic development and welfare of the population.

Abstract: This research examines the relation between the levels of national identity of Ukrainians in different regions of the country and the current state of their economic activity. The study explores whether the changes in economic activity of Ukrainian population are related to the changes in the level of its national identity. We used the results of the national poll, conducted by the sociological agency in Ukraine, together with data from State Statistics Service in Ukraine. The indicators of linguistic, civic and cultural identity were compared to regional human development indices, and indicators of socio-demographic status and economic activity of population in five aggregative regions in Ukraine. The results showed how differently people within the same country perceive social and economic standards of living and have various perceptions of the basis of their own national identity. This affects the processes of national identification and establishment of emphasis in regional development paths, as well as contributes to definition of the most relevant to a particular region levers of economic influence on the processes of national identification.

Abstract: This article analyses the reform of decentralization in Ukraine and its role in the sustainable development of regions and newly created amalgamated territorial communities (ATCs). The reasons of the reform's implementation and the problems connected with the local management are specified. The study of foreign experience in reforming the administrative and territorial system has made it possible to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of decentralization as an instrument of change. With the beginning of the reform in Ukraine, the processes involving citizens' participation in managing sustainable development of the regions and the ATCs became more active. The analysis of financial decentralization in Ukraine showed the positive dynamics in local budgets' revenues. The development of a new governance model in a community implies involvement of the civil society in management and allocation of local budgets. The participatory budget is shown as a modern and effective instrument of local democracy. The advantages and the main effects of the participatory budgeting in ATCs for the purpose of their sustainable development were defined. Keywords: decentralization, reform, sustainable development, region, amalgamated territorial community, participatory budget

Abstract: The article discusses the possibility of using a new veterinary preparation phytoglinol to improve the quality of meat and dairy raw materials in the context of solving the problems of food security in the Russian Federation. An experiment conducted on laboratory animals to simulate heat stress revealed pronounced detoxification and stress-correcting properties of the preparation. The obtained results indicate that the new preparation phytoglinol not only ensures the correction of metabolic homeostasis under heat stress conditions, but also helps to weaken endotoxicosis, reduce the level of lipid peroxidation products in the body of experimental animals, thereby exhibiting a pronounced antitoxic and antioxidant effect.

Abstract: Energy security is an important issue for Ukraine's sustainable development. The main goal of the article is to show the state of energy security of Ukraine, analyze its tendencies and challenges, reveal the impact of energy security on sustainable development of a country. The state of the energy security of Ukraine was analyzed with the help of data collection, processing and analysis. Data was taken from State Statistics Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Energetics and Coal Industry of Ukraine, other sources, and analyzed with the help of tools of statistics and economic analysis. Ukraine, being a developing country and experiencing war, political and economic crisis, struggles for energy security support. The present state of energy availability and consumption in the country influences its sustainable development and political stability, and is a significant restraint in country's survival. Despite the fact that Ukraine has enough resources' deposits to provide itself with energy, it provides less than 50% of own demands and is dependent on Russia's resources. Production of energy in Ukraine is decreasing, but energy consumption remains high. Ukrainian industries are energy-wasteful and energy-inefficient; the country has the leading positions in energy intensity of GDP. The article shows the relation of energy sources and energy security of Ukraine to sustainable development, reveals the dependency of the Ukrainian energy security, and indicates its main threats and ways out.

Abstract: The work is devoted to the topical problem at the intersection of communications theory, digital electronics and numerical analysis, namely the study of image processing methods implementation time on different architectures of computational devices, which are used for software and hardware acceleration. The subject of this article is the investigation of reconfigurable FPGA processing systems in the image processing area. The goal of this work is to create a reconfigurable FPGA-based image processing system and compare it with existing processing architectures. Task. To fulfill the requirements of this work, it is necessary to prepare a practical experiment as well as theoretical research of the proposed architecture; to investigate the process of creating a ZYNQ SoC-based image processing system; and to develop and benchmark the speed of execution for the given set of algorithms with the specific range of the picture resolution. Methods used: FPGA simulation, C++ parallel programming with OpenMP, NVIDIA CUDA, performance analysis tools. The result of this work is the development of a resilient SoC Zynq7000–based computing system with programmable logic and the possibility to load images to FPGA RAM using the resources of ARM core for further processing and output via HDMI video interface, which enables the change of PL configuration at any time during the processing process. Conclusions. The efficiency of the FPGA approach was compared with a parallel image processing method implementation with OpenMP and CUDA. An overview of the ZYNQ platform with specific details related to media processing is presented. The analysis of algorithm speed testing findings based on various outputs proved the advantage (of over 60 times) of hardware acceleration of image processing over software analogs. The obtained results may be used in the development of embedded SoC-based solutions that require acceleration of big data processing. Also, the achieved findings can be used during the process of finding a suitable embedded platform for a certain image-processing task, where high data throughput is one of the most desired requirements.

Abstract: Research background: Sustainable development is the agenda for many countries including Ukraine, which adopted it at the national level and promoted through its regions. As the country is constantly struggling with the results of the military conflict and the impact of the occupation of its part by separatists, which led to economic decrease and emergence of numerous social and environmental issues, the transition of Ukraine to sustainable development path becomes especially important. At the same time, there is no official methodology adopted by the Ukrainian government, how to assess sustainable development of its regions. Availability of objective assessments would contribute to development of the relevant policy recommendations. Purpose of the article: The purpose of the article is to assess sustainable development of the regions in Ukraine and to show the dynamics of performance of the regions before and after the beginning of the military conflict in the East of Ukraine. Methods: We suggest the methodology of calculation of the integral index of sustainable development of the regions in Ukraine. This methodology takes into account the three pillars of sustainable development concept (economic, social and environmental) and uses the data available for all Ukrainian regions from the official statistics source. In order to determine the position of individual regions in the development of the Ukrainian economy and to identify certain groups of regions according to their level of sustainable development, we apply the method of statistical grouping. Findings & Value added: The conducted analyses showed the dynamics of indicators of sustainable development of the Ukrainian regions, the performance of the regions and their affiliation to the corresponding attributive groups. The situation and interrelation of the regions in Ukraine totally changed after the beginning of the military conflict in the East of Ukraine. The Luhansk and Donetsk regions, which are directly affected by the military conflict, became the outsiders among other regions in Ukraine, though before the conflict the values of sustainable development indicators had been above the average values in Ukraine. The leaders among the regions also changed, and the difference between the leaders and the following groups became significant. The results of the analyses allowed to visualize the dynamics of sustainable development of the regions in Ukraine and define the key directions for future development.

Abstract: The article examines the role of international organizations in promoting sustainable development and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) in conflict-affected regions by providing the case of Luhansk region, which since 2014 has lost a significant part of its territory, substantial industrial potential and has got numerous political, social and economic problems due to the military conflict in the East of Ukraine. The international research has already given successful experience of role of international organizations in promoting sustainable development of various problem territories. Investigation of case of Luhansk region is structured around the analysis of presence of international organization in Ukraine as a whole and in Luhansk region as a conflict-affected area, and their activities. Such analysis allowed to distinguish the main directions of international organizations' activities and identify the key sustainable development aspects and SDGs, the achievement of which is possible due to these activities. Even the cursory comparison of the budgets of the region and international organizations made it obvious that the local authorities are incapable of solving the emerged problems and achieving the SDGs in conflict-affected areas without assistance of international community. Keywords: conflict-affected region, sustainable development, international organizations, promoting, sustainable development goals
