    Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan strategi pembelajaran REACT pada pembelajaran turunan fungsi ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis, kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan Self efficacy siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang, (2) menentukan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif diantara strategi REACT dan pembelajaran konvensional pada pembelajaran turunan fungsi ditinjau dari aspek prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis, kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan Self efficacy siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experiment. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji one sample t-test, uji T2 Hotelling’s, dan uji t-Bonferroni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) strategi pembelajaran REACT efektif pada pembelajaran turunan fungsi ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis, kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan Self efficacy siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang, dan (2) strategi pembelajaran REACT lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional pada pembelajaran turunan fungsi ditinjau dari aspek prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis, kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan Self efficacy siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang.Kata Kunci: strategi REACT, prestasi belajar, kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis, kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan Self efficacy siswa SMA The Effectiveness of REACT Strategy Viewed from Learning Achievement, Problem Solving Ability, Mathematical Connection, Self-EfficacyAbstractThe aims of this study are to: (1) to describe the effectiveness of the REACT strategy viewed from Mathematics Learning Achievement, Mathematics Problem Solving Ability, Mathematics Connection Ability, and Student Self efficacy of State Senior High School 4 Magelang Students, and (2) determine a more effective learning strategies between REACT strategy and conventional learning in the derivative function instruction viewed from mathematics learning achievement, mathematical problem solving ability, mathematical connections ability, and self-efficacy of State Senior High School 4 Magelang Students.This study was a quasi-experimental research.     Abstract: 〈 p 〉 This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the mathematics learning model to stimulate critical thinking on student mathematics learning outcomes compared to the direct learning model in class XII science students of senior high school in Pacitan. The type of research is quasi-experimental, with a population of all students of class XII IPA of SMA N 2 Pacitan. The sample consists of 28 students of class XII IPA-1 as an experimental class and class XII of IPA-2 of 28 students as a control class. The sampling technique was purposive random sampling. Data collection techniques using the test. The test is a student's initial ability test and a student's mathematics learning outcomes test. The analysis technique of the data used in this study is the t-test, while the analysis of prerequisite tests includes tests of normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that mathematics learning using the mathematics learning model to stimulate critical thinking was more effectively applied in learning compared to the direct learning model of the mathematics learning outcomes of high school students in terms of the results of the t-test analysis and the average test scores of learning outcomes. 〈 /p 〉

    Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) ditinjau  dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan motivasi belajar siswa dan manakah yang lebih efektif diantara keduanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Margasari Kabupaten Tegal. Sampel penelitian kelas VIII-A dan VIII-H. Untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan pembelajaran data dianalisis dengan uji one sample    t- test pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran data diukur dengan  uji Hotelling’s Trace pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan selanjutnya digunakan uji independent sample t-testuntuk mengetahui pembelajaran mana yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pendekatan PBL dan CTL efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan motivasi belajar siswa dan pendekatan PBL lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pendekatan CTL ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa, namun tidak lebih efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis.Kata Kunci:  pendekatan Problem-Based Learning, pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning,   kemampuan komunikasi matematis, dan motivasi belajar siswa. The Effectiveness of PBL Approach and CTL Viewed from Mathematical Communication and Learning Motivation of Students Junior High School  AbstractThis study aims to examine  the effectiveness of Problem Based-Learning (PBL) and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) viewed from students’ mathematical communication ability and learning motivation and which more effective instruction between PBL approach and CTL approach. This study was quasi experiment research. The population covered all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Margasari in Tegal Regency.  The sample of class VIII-A and VIII-H. To test the effectiveness of the PBL and CTL approaches, the data were analyzed using the one-sample t-test at the significance level of 5%. To determine differences in the effectiveness of mathematics teaching data were analyzed using Hotteling Trace at the significance level of 5% and followed by independent sample t- test to determine which approach was more effective. The results of this study show that: the PBL approach and CTL is effective to increase students’ communication ability and learning motivation and the PB L approach is more effective than the CTL approach viewed from students’ learning motivation but not more effective viewed from mathematical communication ability .Keywords: Problem-Based Learning approach, Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, mathematical communication ability, student’s learning motivation.

    Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada materi pokok geometri ruang SMP yang memenuhi kriteria kualitas: valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D terdiri dari empat langkah: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) diseminasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan analsis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing produk memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Produk memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, ditunjukkan dari persentase penilaian ahli mencapai 100% yang termasuk dalam kategori valid. Produk memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan berdasarkan penilaian oleh guru dan siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Produk memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan juga berdasarkan persentase keterlaksaan pembelajaran yang melebihi 80%. Produk memenuhi kriteria keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM untuk kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan melebihi 75%.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik, geometri ruang  Developing Instructional Material Using the Scientific Approach on the Space Geometry Topic for Junior High SchoolAbstract The aim of this study is to develop mathematics instructional materials using the scientific approach on the space geometry topic for junior high school that fulfill the quality criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research was a research and development study using the Four-D development model with modification consisting of three steps: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. The data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The result of the study shows that all of the products are valid, practical, and effective. The product fulfills the validity criterion. It is shown by the percentage of experts appraisal which reaches 100%, that belongs to a valid category. The product fulfills the practicality criterion based on teacher and student assesment to the instructional material, that is in a very good category. The product also fulfills the practicality criterion based on the percentage of teaching implementation. The percentage of teaching implementation exceeded 80%. The product fulfills the effectiveness criterion based on students’ learning achievement in attitude, knowledge, and skill competency. The percentage of the students who achieve minimum mastery criteria for attitude, knowledge, and skill competency exceeded 75%.Keywords: development, instructional material, scientific approach, space geometry

    Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran trigonometri menggunakan ADOBE FLASH CS3 untuk pembelajaran matematika siswa SMA kelas X semester II dan mengetahui kelayakan produk multimedia dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan untuk pembelajaran matematika di SMA Kelas X Semester II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu: pertama, pendahuluan yaitu studi pustaka dan studi lapangan; kedua, pengembangan yaitu perencanaan dan pengembangan produk awal; dan ketiga, uji lapangan yaitu uji pengembangan terbatas, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia yang dihasilkan dalam pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran matematika trigonometri adalah baik dilihat dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan suatu multimedia pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran matematika, adobe flas CS3, trigonometri Developing an Trigonometry Multimedia Instruction Using Adobe Flash CS3 for SMA Student AbstractThis research aims to develop trigonometry multimedia intruction using ADOBE FLASH CS3 for the teaching of mathematics on the semester II class X of SMA and reveal the feasibility of the product in the aspects of validity, practicality and effectiveness aspec. This research is development research use Borg and Gall development models, conducted through three phases: first, introduction that included the study of literature and field studies; second, development that included the planning and development of the initial product; trird, field testing which included a limited development testing, a small group testing, and field trials. The result of research indicating that resulted in the development of multimedia learning multimedia math Trigonometry is good seen from the aspect of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a multimedia learning.Keywords: development mathematics multimedia instruction, adobe flash CS3, trigonometry

    Abstract: AbstrakPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memformulasikan masukan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam penyempurnaan buku matematika siswa SMP kurikulum 2013. Sehingga nantinya kesalahan-kesalahan yang ditemukan dalam buku matematika siswa SMP kurikulum 2013 dapat diminimalisisr dan layak dipakai oleh siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik, yakni suatu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang realitas pada objek yang diteliti secara objektif. Penelitian ini menekankan pada satu variabel yaitu kebenaran konsep pada buku matematika siswa SMP kurikulum 2013. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam buku matematika siswa SMP kurikulum 2013 masih terdapat banyak kesalahan. Kesalahan ini berupa kesalahan dalam penulisan maupun dalam merumuskan konsep pembelajaran matematika.Kata Kunci: analisis buku, buku matematika siswa, kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran matematika.AbstractThe aim of this present study is to formulate suggestions as a consideration in improving junior high school students’ mathematics book 2013 curriculum. Later on, the mistakes found in the book can be minimalize and suitable to be used by students. The sort of this study is a analitic descriptive research, namely a research that intends to give representations about reality towards objects that have been studied objectively. This research study stresses in one variable, namely the truth concept in junior high school students’ mathematics book 2013 curriculum. The result of the analysis shows that in Junior High School students’ mathematics textbook 2013 curriculum was found many mistakes. The mistakes includes wrong spelling in written the words and wrong formulation of mathematics learning concepts.Keyword: book analysis, students’ mathematics book, 2013 curriculum, mathematics learning.

    Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika untuk SMP kelas VII semester genap dengan pendekatan saintifik yang meliputi RPP, LKS, dan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar siswa yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Four-D yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) penyebaran. Tidak semua produk dilakukan uji pengembangan. Uji pengembangan produk hanya dilakukan pada materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu vaiabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang telah dilakukan uji pengembangan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Produk memenuhi kriteria valid berdasarkan persentase penilaian ahli mencapai 100%. Produk memenuhi kriteria praktis berdasarkan penilaian guru dan siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, serta berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksaan pembelajaran. Produk memenuhi kriteria efektif berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM untuk kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan melebihi 75%.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik Developing Mathematics Instructional Materials for 7th Grade Students of Junior High School in Second Semester Based on the Scientific Approach AbstractThe aim of this study is to produce mathematics instructional materials for 7th grade students of junior high school in their second semester based on the scientific approach including lesson plans, student’s worksheets, and assessment instrument of learning achievement that fulfill the quality criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research was a development study using the Four-D development model with four steps: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. Development test was not done for all products. Development testing of product was done only for linear equality and inequality with one variable. The result of the study shows that the product which has done development test is valid, practical, and effective. The product fulfills the validity criterion. It is shown by the percentage of experts’ appraisal which reaches 100% that belongs to a valid category. The product fulfills the practicality criterion based on teacher and student assesment to the instructional material that is in a very good category. The product also fulfills the practicality criterion based on the percentage of teaching implementation. The percentage of teaching implementation exceeded 90%.     Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesiapan mahasiswa pendidikan matematika se-Kota Mataram dalam melaksanakan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di sekolah yang ditinjau dari: kesiapan kompetensi pedagogi mahasiswa dan kesiapan kompetensi kepribadian mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan concurrent embedded strategy of mixed method. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 104 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang melaksanakan PPL di sekolah, yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes, daftar ceklis, lembar observasi, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan kecenderungan kesiapan dalam lima kategori yaitu sangat siap, siap, cukup, kurang, dan sangat kurang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kompetensi pedagogi mahasiswa masuk kategori cukup, (2) wawasan kompetensi pedagogi masuk kategori siap, (3) kemampuan menyusun RPP masuk kategori siap, (4) kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran masih kurang, (5) kemampuan menilai hasil belajar masuk kategori cukup, dan (6) kompetensi kepribadian mahasiswa masuk kategori cukup. The readiness of mathematics education students in mataram city in the teaching practicum at schools AbstractThis study aimed to describe the readiness of mathematics education students in Mataram City in implement the teaching practicum at schools in terms of the pedagogic competence and the personal competence. This study using the approach of the concurrent embedded strategy of mixed methods. The study sample consisted of 104 mathematics education students who carried out the teaching practicum at schools, which was determined using purposive sampling technique. The study instruments consist of a test, checklists, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed by means of the descriptive statistics using readiness tendencies in five categories: very ready, ready, fairly ready, poor, and very poor. The results of the study show that (1) the pedagogical competence of students was in the fairly ready category, (2) the pedagogic competence knowledge was in the ready category, (3) the ability to design lesson plans was in the ready category, (4) the ability to implement teaching was in the poor category, (5) the ability to assess students’ learning achievements was in the fairly ready category, and (6) the personal competence was in the fairly ready category.
