Abstract: Introduction: Most of the aging process in the skin occurs due to exposure to sunlight, especially UV-B light, resulting in an increase in the activity of the tyrosinase enzyme and the amount of melanin which will cause hyperpigmentation of the skin. Antioxidants are substances that can provide protection from endogenous and exogenous oxidative stress by free radicals. The purpose of this study was to prove that Wamena roasted Arabica coffee bean extract cream can inhibit the enzymes tyrosinase and melanin in guinea pig exposed to UV-B lights. Methods: The design of this study was an animal experimental design with a randomized post-test only control group. The subjects of the study were 30 guinea pigs divided into 3 groups: group 1 as control, group 2 with placebo cream and group 3 was with 3% Wamena arabica coffee bean extract cream. The group 2 and 3 were exposed to UV-B light for 2 weeks. The skin of the guinea pig was excised for examination of the levels of the enzymes tyrosinase and melanin. Result: The average tyrosinase and melanin levels in control group were 19.891% and 4.62%, treatment group 2 was an average of 42.699% and 9.26% and treatment group 3 was 23.886% and 4.87%. Conclusion: Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) bean extract cream roasted Wamena 3% inhibits the tyrosinase enzyme levels and inhibits the melanin in guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus) which are exposed to ultraviolet B light.

Abstract: ABSTRACT Introduction: Depressive disorder is a mood disorder that can have a serious impact on a person's life, both in health and in society. This disorder also has a risk of recurrence so that it can have an impact towards chronic depression. Therefore, a novel therapeutic approach is needed to reduce this burden and improve the quality of life of patients previously diagnosed with depressive disorders. Implementation of mobile applications can be an option to mitigate this. This study aims to review cellular application therapy approaches to prevent progression and recurrence in depressive symptoms. Discussion: Efforts to prevent progression and recurrence from depressive disorders can be done through the CORED (Chronic-Relapsing Depression) Prevention mobile application which focuses on: (1) Follow Up, (2) Time management assistance, (3) Meditation and mindfulness training, and (4) Group-Therapy services. The interventions on these four things have good clinical effects to prevent recurrence in depressive patients. In addition, given the high risk of relapse in depression, this application is equipped with Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) as a screening tool to detect warning signs, in which patients must return to therapy in clinical settings. Conclusion: The use of the application, based on the right principles, is expected to provide maximum effect and can be both effective in terms of time and cost. Further research needs to be carried out to examine the implementation of more integrated applications to assess the effectiveness of the use of cellular applications as prevention of recurrence and chronic depression in depressive disorders patients.

Abstract: Hypertension treatment can be helped through complementary therapies, one of which is fruit juices. This study aimed to systematically review the evidence from various study regarding the effect of fruit juices on blood pressure in hypertensive patients and the types of fruit juices that are proven to be effective in reducing hypertension. This study is systematic review. Literature searching was conducted in four electronic databases, namely CINAHL, EMBASE, Pubmed, and Sciencedirect with the phrase fruit juices AND (hypertension OR blood pressure). Studies obtained from searching will be selected based on a screening title and abstract, eligibility criteria, and assesment risk of bias. The results of the study obtained 21 final studies with RCT research designs that passed the screening with complete eligibility criteria. However, the studies with valid results only amounted to 8 studies. These data show that as many as 5 studies prove fruit juices can reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients and 3 other studies have stated the opposite. Thus, it can be concluded that there is strong evidence that fruit juices has a significant effect on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Fruit juices that have been shown to be effective are orange juice and queen garnet plum juice

Abstract: Breast cancer is malignancy that becomes significant health problem in the world. According to WHO data in 2018, there were 2.1 million cases of breast cancer with mortality rate reaching 627,000. Current breast cancer treatments are surgery, radiation therapy, hormonal therapy and chemotherapy. However, these treatments have side effects such as neuropathy, fatigue after undergoing chemotherapy, and alopecia. Natural ingredients are the choice to overcome these weaknesses, one of which is the utilization of piperine in Balinese long pepper (Piper retrofractum Vahl). Piperine can increase the bioavailability of many drugs by increasing absorption from the intestine, suppressing the metabolism of drugs in lung and liver tissue by inhibiting CYP3A4 and P84 glycoprotein P84. Piperine is easily absorbed in the intestine and excreted through urine and feces, causing minimal toxic effects. Piperine in Balinese long pepper is able to reduce breast cancer cell proliferation by 40%. Piperine can also inhibit epidermal growth factor (EGF) by inducing decreased expression of MMP-9 and MMP-13. Piperine will work through inhibition of NF-κB and PKCα phosphorylation and AP-1 activation by interfering extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling pathway (ERK) 1/2, p38 MAPK, and Akt which results in inhibition of migration and metastasis of breast cancer cells. Keyword: Anti-metastatic, Anti-proliferative, Breast Cancer, Piperine, Piper Retrofractum.

Abstract: Background: Lay-up shoot is one of the basic techniques that a basketball athlete must master to be a winner. The shooting technique involves jumping and dribbling the ball as close as possible into the ring. This study aimed to describe the relationship between leg muscle explosive power and lay-up shoot ability. Methods: This research was a descriptive study with a correlational design that used a total sampling technique that targeted all students who were basketball club members at Public Senior High School 8 Denpasar concerning inclusion and exclusion criteria. A vertical jump test measured leg muscle explosive power, and the lay-up shoot ability was measured by doing a lay-up shoot ten times. Results: The results showed a relationship between leg muscle explosive power and the lay-up shoot ability of the students. Most students have above-average legs, muscle explosive power, and good lay-up shooting skills. The better the leg's muscle explosive power, the better the lay-up shoot ability, which shows that the leg muscle explosive power is positively correlated with the lay-up shoot ability Conclusion: This study found a significant relationship between leg muscle explosive power and ability lay-up shoot students at the basketball club Public Senior High School 8 Denpasar.

Abstract: Studies on ambient PM2.5 exposure and AURI and ALRI in regions such as South and South-East Asia, where levels of PM2.5 are among the highest, are limited. We assessed the associations between ambient PM2.5 exposure and AURI and ALRI in children under the age of 5 years from South and Southeast Asia. We identified subjects from the demographic health survey (DHS). We retrieved PM2.5 information from the Atmospheric Compositional Analysis Group. Annual mean levels of PM2.5 ranged from 21.3 to 73.2 μg/m3. We performed the meta-analytical approach to obtain the pooled results. Our initial results show an association between ambient PM2.5 exposure and AURI (OR 1.06, 95% CI: 1.01-1.11) but not ALRI (OR 1.03, 95% CI: 0.98-1.09). However, after controlling for indoor SHS, effect estimates became stronger for AURI and ALRI (OR 1.27, 95% CI: 1.04-1.54 and OR 1.20, 95% CI: 1.00-1.44) compared to the uncontrolled group. Our study shows an association between ambient PM2.5 exposure and the prevalence of AURI and ALRI in children under the age of 5 years from South and Southeast Asia. Promoting awareness of air pollution in line with the implementation and monitoring of relevant policies is crucial in establishing clean air and health.
