    Abstract: Local wisdom is frequently used by communities in managing their coastal resources without a precise measure of sustainability. As a result, the government must develop a standard for determining the wisdom of these practices. This study aimed to create such a standard, followed by a trial to evaluate management practices in Pangandaran coastal tourism. This qualitative case study included a literature review, direct observations, and in-depth interviews with fish farmers and fishers. They are standardizing instrument criteria for sustainable fishery resource management-defined wisdom. Such wisdom is divided into fundamental thinking (factual knowledge) and management practices (procedural knowledge). Each consists of five criteria: ecosystem and resource management, planning, governance, technology, and social and economic development. Each criterion has a specific rating indicator and parameter. The results show differences in the level of wisdom between the fish farmer and the fishers. Regarding basic thinking, fishers’ wisdom level is weak in three out of five criteria. Fishers reach a moderate wisdom level concerning fishing gear and technical criteria and a strong level on social and economic criteria. In contrast, the fish farmer is moderate to strong for four criteria and weak for the resources and ecosystems criterion. Regarding management practices, in general, fish farmers and fishers have the same level of wisdom. Both are weak in the ecosystem and resources, planning, and institutional criteria, while the fishing gear criteria reach moderate levels and the socio-economic criteria reach high levels.

    Abstract: Microalgae cultivation is considered fit to the concept of green economy, in which greenhouse gases (GHG’s) mitigation and production of valuable substances is performed simultaneously. Carbon dioxide consumption by the algal cells reduces GHG’s emission to the atmosphere, while biomass conversion to biofuel feedstock supports the concept of circular economy of microalgae cultivation process. In this study, Chlorella sp. was cultivated in a Multi Tubular Airlift Photobioreactor (MTAP) system with a total volume of about 600 L. The result of a thirteen days batch culture showed the ability of the system to fix 1.57 g CO 2 L -1 day -1 . At the last day of experiment, 600 L MTAP showed biomass production of 0.35 g L -1 and 18% oil from cell dry weight was observed. This research showed the ability of 600 L MTAP to absorb 942 g CO 2 and produce 37.8 g oil as biofuel feedstock. Compared to other experiments, percentage of oil in this experiment (18% from cell dry weight) was in the average range from other experiments (of about 10 – 40% from cell dry weight). However, this MTAP showed higher performance than other systems (mostly below 1 g CO 2 L -1 day -1 ) in CO 2 fixation rate.

    Abstract: Review of Virus Inactivation Technologies for Covid-19 Pandemic Control SARS-CoV-2 virus inactivation is one of global concerns in alleviating the spread of Covid-19. The applications of virus inactivation technologies are mainly based on the knowledge of virus characteristics, its persistence on material surfaces, and enviro nmental factors impairing its structure. Current virus inactivation methods are mostly employing chemicals dan physical treatments such as hydrogen peroxide, hypochlorite solutions, and UV light. In this paper, we discuss three current virus inactivation technologies for reducing the spread of Covid-19, i.e., room disinfection, surface disinfection, and personal protective equipment (PPE) decontamination technology. Room disinfection technology, particularly room with poor ventilation or closed air circulation, employs the combination of UV light treatment with filters. Surface disinfection technologies utilize the spraying or fogging of disinfectant solutions, and PPE decontamination technologies utilize UV light or chemical treatments to inactivate the virus. Further development and application of these technologies will help the national effort in controlling the spread of Covid-19. Inaktivasi virus SARS-CoV-2 merupakan salah satu upaya global untuk mengurangi penyebaran Covid-19. Aplikasi teknologi inaktivasi virus ini banyak bersandar pada pengetahuan mengenai karakteristik dan daya tahan virus ini pada permukaan benda dan hal-hal yang merusak struktur virus tersebut. Metode inaktivasi virus yang banyak digunakan adalah perlakuan dengan bahan kimia dan perlakuan secara fisik yaitu dengan menggunakan larutan disinfektan hidrogen peroksida, larutan hipoklorit dan sinar UV. Dalam tulisan ini, peluang aplikasi teknologi inaktivasi virus SARS-CoV-2 yang dibahas adalah teknologi disinfeksi ruangan, disinfeksi permukaan benda dan dekontaminasi alat pelindung diri. Teknologi disinfeksi ruangan khususnya pada ruangan tertutup dengan ventilasi yang kurang baik atau resirkulasi udara tertutup adalah dengan menggunakan kombinasi perlakuan sinar UV dengan filter. Teknologi disinfeksi permukaan benda menggunakan teknik penyemprotan atau pengkabutan larutan disinfektan, sedangkan teknologi dekontaminasi alat pelindung diri dilakukan dengan perlakuan sinar UV atau dengan bahan kimia. Pengembangan dan aplikasi lanjut dari teknologi inaktivasi virus ini akan membantu upaya nasional dalam penanggulangan penyebaran Covid-19.

    Abstract: Masa pandemi Covid-19 membuat pembelajaran seni rupa di lembaga PAUD dilakukan secara daring atau jarak jauh. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu Implementasi pembelajaran seni rupa PAUD di masa pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran implementasi pembelajaran seni rupa di Lembaga PAUD di masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dengan cara self-assessment. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 66 orang guru di Kota Yogyakarta dan sekitarnya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, kemudian menyajikan data dalam bentuk grafik dan penjelasan naratifnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa pembelajaran seni rupa yang paling banyak diterapkan oleh guru TK selama pandemi ini adalah kegiatan menggambar dan mewarnai yaitu 64 responden atau sekitar 97% dari 66 responden, dibandingkan dengan melukis, membatik, menganyam, kolase, montase, dan mozaik. Alasan utama menerapkan kegiatan menggambar dan mewarnai adalah karena alat dan bahan mudah didapat, serta anak dapat mengerjakan secara mandiri tanpa bantuan orang tuanya.

    Abstract: Pencegahan perilaku tidak bermoral generasi muda dapat dilakukan sejak usia dini. Stimulasi perkembangan moral anak oleh guru dan pengukuran capaian perkembangannya memerlukan instrument yang valid dan reliable. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengonfirmasi kajian teoritik indikator amatan perkembangan moral anak usia dini dalam persepsi guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan exploratory factor analyses indikator teramati terhadap variable latent moral anak dengan menggunakan software Smart-PLS versi 3.8.2. Nilai moral anak usia dini terdiri dari adaptasi, disiplin, jujur, percaya diri, peduli, santun, tanggung jawab, dan toleran. Adaptasi anak itu bergaul dengan teman sebaya atau diterima dalam lingkungan pertemanan baru. Disiplin itu mengendalikan diri anak dalam proses interkasi sosial.  Substansi kejujuran itu bercerita, berbuat, dan menilai sesuatu apa adanya. Percaya diri dicirikan oleh inisiatif dan berbagi pengalaman belajar dengan teman lain. Anak-anak yang berbagi makanan/alat belajar dengan teman lain adalah inti peduli. Kesantunan terletak pada komunikasi yang produktif antara anak dengan guru. Tanggung jawab diamati melaui aktivitas anak merapikan alat setelah digunakan. Penghargaan anak terhadap karya teman lain menjadi penanda anak terbuka dengan kenyataan yang berbeda dengan dirinya.

    Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the difficulties and the good steps that have been taken, reflect on their experiences, and plan follow-up difficulties. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research was carried out July-August 2021. Data collection techniques were interviews (4 supervisors, 2 supervisor teachers, and 5th semester students), documentation, and observation. Data analysis with data reduction techniques, data display, and verification and confirmation of conclusions. The research indicators are concrete experience, reflection and observation, abstract conceptual, and active experimentation.The results showed: 1) difficult experiences: internet facilities and networks, low student activity online, lack of confidence in students and also practitioners during the teaching and learning process, difficulty adjusting learning media according to class level, lack of content knowledge, difficulty linking material and examples in everyday life, as well as the selection of learning models. The good things that have been done are being able in terms of: communication, self-motivation, patience, and the courage to propose ideas to supervisors; 2) results of reflection: it is necessary to design learning tools, master the material, be creative and innovative, solve problems, and think positively about online learning; 3) Things that will be improved: being able to study independently (reading a lot of literature), designing creative media and applying methods that are problem solving in nature, and preparing teaching materials independently.

    Abstract: Plant use as traditional medicine is still widely practiced in Indonesia. Muara Tae tribe people, West Kutai regency are one of the regions that still rely on Blumea balsamifera and Cordyline fruticosa plants as traditional medicine. This study aims to determine the potential of Blumea balsamifera and Cordyline fruticosa leaves as medicinal plants with phytochemicals and antioxidants. Phytochemical analysis was tested using Harborne and Kokate methods. Antioxidant activity was evaluated by DPPH radical scavenging assay with slight modification. The results of the phytochemical analysis showed that the extracts of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and ethanol from the leaves of Blumea balsamifera and Cordyline fruticosa contained alkaloids, tannins, and triterpenoids. Antioxidant activity of Blumea balsamifera leaves extract showed that the n-hexane extract display an ability to inhibit DPPH free radical by 50% at 100 ppm concentration, while ethyl acetate and ethanol extracts display an ability by 77% and 81% at 50 ppm concentration. IC50 value of ethyl acetate and ethanol extracts of Blumea balsamifera leaves sequentially were 23.68 µg/mL and 17.59 µg/mL. Antioxidant activity of Cordyline fruticosa leaves extract showed that the n-hexane and ethyl acetate extract display an ability to inhibit DPPH free radical by 45% and 56% at 100 ppm concentration, while ethanol extracts display an ability by 76% at 50 ppm concentration. IC50 value of ethyl acetate and ethanol extracts of Cordyline fruticosa leaves sequentially were 73.72 µg/mL and 20.17 µg/mL. Based on the results, Blumea balsamifera and Cordyline fruticosa leaves extracts had the potential to develop as natural antioxidants.

    Abstract: Teknologi reverse osmosis (RO) sudah banyak digunakan untuk mengolah air baku menjadi air siap minum (ARSINUM). Masalah yang sering dijumpai dalam proses pengolahan air baku untuk ARSINUM menggunakan RO diantaranya adalah keberadaan mikroorganisme dari air proses dan pembentukan biofilm. Mikroorganisme yang lolos dari membran RO dan bertahan dari perlakuan desinfektan dapat berkembangbiak dan menjadi sumber kontaminan. Karena itu, kualitas ARSINUM yang dihasilkan, khususnya dari aspek mikrobiologi, perlu dikontrol secara periodik untuk memastikan ARSINUM itu aman untuk dikonsumsi. Dalam makalah ini dibahas mengenai permasalahan yang dijumpai dalam aplikasi teknologi RO untuk produksi ARSINUM dari aspek mikrobiologi dan beberapa alternatif untuk penanggulangannya. Kata Kunci : reverse osmosis, air minum, mikroorganisme, biofilm
