Abstract: Early in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic emerged as a global public health concern requiring urgent attention, concerted efforts and intervention to avoid catastrophe. This necessitated optimal use of fast-emerging data to be analysed to draw out inferences that would shape our response. World Health Organisation (WHO) called this pandemic an infodemic where data played a crucial role. This paper reviews how data from varied sources and different types helped delay the outbreak, limit the spread, initiate social and public health measures, decide treatment regimes, optimise healthcare infrastructure and human resources and helped to initiate a multipronged strategy with emerging evidence for further course correction as the world progressed through the pandemic. The classical mathematical tools, i.e., Susceptible-Infected-Recovered (SIR) model and its variants, were the primary analytical techniques utilised to analyse such data. However, newer data analytical techniques utilising artificial intelligence and machine learning, were also extensively used. These techniques have the capability to handle large quantities of data and develop prediction models of various emerging situations that offer foreknowledge for policymakers and provide solutions. Data Science has witnessed a leap in the past few years, and the way it helped shape our response to this pandemic is a testimony to the promise that it holds for humankind.

Abstract: The Constitution of India broadly provides for five kinds of “prerogative” writs: habeas corpus, certiorari, mandamus, quo warranto and prohibition. This study presents their legal status, namely their application, procedure and grounds for their application. The study concludes that, in India, the rule of law is supreme and judiciary has the right to interfere whenever there is deviation from this supremacy. The judiciary shall ensure that all administrative actions comply with legal limits and consider administrative measures to assess whether the authority has exercised powers, the authority misused or exceeded its powers, the authority committed an error of law, the authority violated principles of impartiality of the judiciary, the authority has violated the fundamental rights of individuals. The Judiciary stands to ensure that all administrative actions are confined to the limits of the law and examines administrative action to assess whether the authority has exercised its powers, whether the authority has abused or exceeded its powers, whether the authority has committed an error of law, whether the authority has violated the principles of natural justice, whether the authority has infringed the fundamental rights of persons.

Abstract: The Indo-Gangetic Plain (IGP) region of India faces some of the most severe air pollution problems on Earth that threaten human health, food security, ecosystems, environmental sustainability, and the climate. The aim of this study is to identify and characterize the sources of key short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) – black carbon (BC), brown carbon (BrC), and ozone (O 3 ) – as well as other pollutants [carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides NO X = NO and NO 2 ], and interlinked atmospheric processes of their formation and transformation at our long-term air pollution monitoring station in a remote rural IGP site, the Indo-Gangetic Plains Centre for Air Research and Education (IGP-CARE). Because of its location, measurements acquired at IGP-CARE provide otherwise new information on the key SLCPs in the IGP region at a remote and rural location. The year-long measurement data at this remote site provided new insights into the variability of SLCP concentration and interlinked atmospheric processes that affect air quality in the rural IGP region. Thirteen episodic events (E1–E13) of elevated BC and BrC concentrations were identified, which can largely be attributed to the local biomass burning activities in the neighboring rural communities. It is suggested that high concentrations of BrC were mostly primary in nature and thought to be co-emitted with BC from biomass burning. Also, secondary pollutant tropospheric O 3 showed elevated concentration. O 3 peaks were mostly attributed to local ozone formation. Nevertheless, on several occasions, O 3 emission was also attributed to regional urban areas. This study's most important finding is that BrC concentrations were relatively high throughout the year with very pronounced diurnal variation with distinct morning and evening peaks in general and a minimum at around noon time; this is hypothesized to be associated with daytime photochemical processes. Analyses using a conditional bivariate probability function (CBPF) and potential source contribution function (PSCF) suggest that regional sources likely affected the local concentrations of SLCPs. These results partly explain the high concentrations and spatial distributions of SLCPs at the local and regional scales at the IGP-CARE site in winter and autumn. In contrast, in the summer and monsoon seasons, strong convection likely favored the dilution of pollutants.

Abstract: Abstract: Online Food Ordering has become an indispensable part of everyone's lives. The internet has grown so big on a various scale like what was it before and that has greatly affected the lifestyle of the whole world. This introduced a new concept of online ordering and delivery of food services. Thus, Online Food Ordering Application primarily helps in delivering the following tasks of order and delivery of food services. The online food ordering system provides convenience and is made for catering to the needs of the customers. Nowadays every person prefers to order food online rather than cooking food at home because of the quick and easy availability of these services. Because the meal menu is available online, it is simple to keep track of orders, manage a client database, and improve the quality of food delivery service. This technology enables the user to choose the meal items that they want from a menu that is provided. The meal products are ordered by the user. The information about the user is kept confidential and is only saved in the database if necessary. Each user is assigned a unique id and password that cannot be shared. As a result, it allows for the ordering of food products safely. Keywords: Web application, food ordering, Online, graphic, Rating.

Abstract: In order to reduce the adverse effects of disordered charging of electric vehicles on the safe and stable operation of the distribution network, a multiobjective optimal scheduling method for the sequential charging software of networked electric vehicles is proposed. Aimed at minimizing charging costs and peak-to-valley differences in distribution network loads, its scheduling strategy will continuously roll and update EV charging schemes over time. The results show that the actual response data collected by the Internet of Vehicles app has corrected the probability distribution of the user’s choice of charging mode and response behavior. On the fifth day, the user’s actual charging response curve is close to the theoretical curve obtained by the optimization algorithm, and the expected charging is basically achieved. Calculations showed that the variance of the total load curve after charging decreased by 24.8 from 169.35 to 127.39. The proposed orderly charging strategy can effectively reduce the charging cost of electric vehicle users and the peak-to-valley difference of the distribution network load, play a good role in peak-valley filling, improve the convergence accuracy of the algorithm, and obtain the optimal solution of the problem.

Abstract: Poliovirus 3CD is a multifunctional protein that serves as a precursor to the protease 3C pro and the viral polymerase 3D pol and also plays a role in the control of viral replication. Although 3CD is a fully functional protease, it lacks polymerase activity. We have solved the crystal structures of 3CD at a 3.4-Å resolution and the G64S fidelity mutant of 3D pol at a 3.0-Å resolution. In the 3CD structure, the 3C and 3D domains are joined by a poorly ordered polypeptide linker, possibly to facilitate its cleavage, in an arrangement that precludes intramolecular proteolysis. The polymerase active site is intact in both the 3CD and the 3D pol G64S structures, despite the disruption of a network proposed to position key residues in the active site. Therefore, changes in molecular flexibility may be responsible for the differences in fidelity and polymerase activities. Extensive packing contacts between symmetry-related 3CD molecules and the approach of the 3C domain's N terminus to the VPg binding site suggest how 3D pol makes biologically relevant interactions with the 3C, 3CD, and 3BCD proteins that control the uridylylation of VPg during the initiation of viral replication. Indeed, mutations designed to disrupt these interfaces have pronounced effects on the uridylylation reaction in vitro.
