Abstract:
The h‐index is one of the most commonly used indices for rating a scientist's performance. Here, we applied the h‐index for rating high‐throughput screening (HTS) result in order of appeal to medicinal chemists, that is, in order of how clear the structure–activity relationship of the HTS result is. We found that the h‐index can be useful for the HTS rating, and this is the first study to demonstrate the application of science metrics to chemistry.
