    Abstract: Previous studies highlight the relationship between Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility. Good corporate governance has been found significantly influence the level of a company social responsibility whether in conventional or Islamic companies context. Most of the studies focus of the studies focus on conventional banks or Islamic banks belong to government or private actors. However, limites or even none of the studies has tried to compare the impact of corporate governance on social responsibility between government and private owned sharia banks. Through quantitative method, we studied the differences between government and private owned sharia banks using six sharia banks samples. The sample was purposively selected from Indonesian Bank website. Our data analysis shows that all three variables; independent commissioners, boards of directors, and sharia supervisory boards are significantly impact the companies’ corporate social responsibility practices. Eventhough, the difference between government and private owned sharia banks in social responsibilty practices is not significant, the result shows that the level compliance of government sharia banks towards social responsibiity is higher than private sharia banks. This might prove that government sharia banks might more commit to social welfare than private sharia banks. Future reseach with more samples and variables might be required to make the finding more valid.

    Abstract: The growth of the area of coffee plantations continues to increase every year. Therefore, it needs to be supported by the readiness of postharvest technology that is suitable to produce the quality coffee beans. This activity aims to establish a business unit for the Production Center of Postharvested Coffee Technology (PCPCT). This unit business produces and sells the postharvested coffee machines. The method of implementing the activities starts from the establishment of business unit institutions, provision of raw materials, production processes, and the final product marketing. The results of the activity indicate that PCPCT was successfully formed. Appropriate Technology Program (ATP) has been implemented in such way until producing a mobile coffee bean peeling machine (pulper) system, a coffee ore washing machine, a mobile coffee bean peeling machine system, and a coffee bean sorting machine with a vibration mechanism (huller). The product marketing mechanism runs through media brochures, internet websites, and showrooms in the exhibition venues.

    Abstract: Radical individual and organizations are setting strong foothold on Internet. They operate in dark network hidden from authorities view to pursuade, recruit, and coordinate radical and violent actions. The presence of radical individual and organizations onInternet sites have caused massive debate and contraversi among Internet users, law enforcement bodies,and policy makers regarding misuse of Internet. However, little is known how exactly radical individual and organizations deliver their propaganda on Internet and what radical organizations practice such activities on Internet. Through the use of content analysis approach, this study analyzed various radical websites content to provide deep insight of radical operation and propaganda on Internet. Data was collected from various popular radical organization websites and previous studies. The findings show that well-kown organized radical and terorist oragnizations in Indonesia and International have intensively used Internet for new arena to radical and terror public across the globe. They use Internet topursuade, deliver propaganda to a global audience, recruit new members, communicate with international supporters, solicit donations, and fostering public awareness. This study concludes that Internet has become a new instrument to spread radicalism and terror within community life.

    The effectivity of hand antiseptic against Staphylococcus aureus

    Abstract: This study aimed to determine the hand antiseptic products effectivity against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The sample used were hand antiseptic products purchased from several minimarkets, markets, and obtained from several institutions in West Sulawesi by using purposive sampling technique. Samples were evaluated using the well diffusion method with three replications. Since the study data did not meet the ANOVA test requirements, the Kruskal-Wallis analysis test was used to analyse the data, then was continued with the Mann Whitney test. The results showed the sig. value of 0.00 〈 0.05 which means, there was a significant difference between hand antiseptics in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The results showed that only 2 out of 10 hand antiseptic products with codes N8 and N10 were effective in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This can be seen from the formation of a clear zone around the hand antiseptic.

    Abstract: ABSTRAK Peran mahasiswa Semester VII pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018 adalah sebagai penata tari atau koreografer di dalam mata kuliah Garap Sanggit Tari dan Koreografi dengan capaian belajar mampu menampilkan karya tari dalam konteks pementasan. Beberapa proses penciptaan tari diawali dengan pencarian ide sampai tahap evaluasi merupakan serangkaian proses penciptaan yang tentunya hasil dari motivasi seseorang untuk berkarya. Modal mahasiswa agar mampu melalui proses pembelajaran tersebut adalah memiliki keinginan juga motivasi dalam menentukan ide kemudian dituangkan ke dalam serangkaian cerita dengan gerak sebagai visualnya. Motivasi bisa muncul di dalam diri mahasiswa sebagai pencipta tari dari berbagai rangsang. Yaitu rangsag audio, visual, dan rangsang kinestetik. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa rangsang audio dan rangsang kinestetik sangat kontribusi terhadap motivasi dalam menciptaka karya tari melalui proses kreatifitas penetapan ide gagas garap sampai pada terciptanya sebuah karya yang siap untuk dipentaskan.  Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Proses Kreatif, Penciptaan Tari

    Abstract: Selain memiliki manfaat yang lengkap sebagai minuman kesehatan, yoghurt memiliki harga yang terjangkau dan telah banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Banyak industri rumahan yang mulai tertarik untuk menjadikan yoghurt sebagai salah satu usaha alternatif. Beberapa UKM produksi yoghurt ini adalah UKM Yoghurt Yovita dan UKM Yoghurt Yosh yang menjadi mitra pada program ini. Pada kedua UKM tersebut masalah yang muncul adalah terbatasnya penggunaan mixer standar dalam proses pengadukan yoghurt sehingga menyebabkan kurang maksimalnya kuantitas produk yoghurt yang dihasilkan. Selanjutnya, tujuan dari program ini adalah menyelesaikan masalah produksi tersebut dengan dibuatkannya mesin pengaduk yoghurt otomatis dengan kapasitas yang lebih besar. Tahapan kegiatan pada program ini meliputi proses desain mesin, persiapan bahan dan alat, pelaksanaan workshop dan pendampingan pengoperasian dan perawatan mesin pengaduk yoghurt. Dari hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan terlihat bahwa mitra sangat antusias dalam mengikuti program tersebut. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari banyaknya peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan dari awal hingga akhir dilaksanakannya program. Mitra juga lebih terampil dalam mengoperasikan mesin dengan didampingi oleh Tim Pelaksana Program. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan kedepannya akan mampu membantu meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan bagi para pemilik UKM tersebut.

    Abstract: Problems in today’s learning includes the low competence of teachers in the use of media for teaching and learning. Among the weaknesses of teachers is the lack of the ability in using the media in learning fiqih mawaris. Many teachers still use conventional media such as markers, board and paper. This affects on the low level of students’ ability on the subject of fiqih mawaris. This study aims to understand the competence of teachers in teaching and learning fiqih mawaris through the collaboration of conventional media and digital media (the application of At-Tashil) at the training center of Balai Diklat Keagamaan (BDK) Aceh. This study adopts qualitative approaches. Data were collected through interviews, the study of documents and observations, while collected data were analyzed through data reduction, presentation of data and the withdrawal of conclusion. The results show that teachers’ competence on subjects of the fiqih mawaris was improved through the process of collaboration between conventional media and modern media of At-Tashil application.
