Abstract:
In this work, engineering a heterostructural interface into a CoP/CePO 4 hybrid has been achieved from a pre‐designed Co‐PBA/CePO 4 precursor. The new CePO 4 engaged interface can regulate the electronic structure of the active CoP as well as enhance the intrinsic activity. As a result, the porous CoP/CePO 4 material shows a superior electrocatalytic performance toward hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) with a lower overpotential of 162 mV to reach a current density of 10 mA cm −2 and a low Tafel slope of 48.7 mV dec −1 . This research could widen the way of engineering heterostructural interfaces with a facile method and promote the exploration of MOF‐derived heterostructural electrocatalysts.
