    Abstract: The goals of this study are to; 1) analyze Madrasah principals' innovative leadership strategies in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar Makassar City and 2) assess the efficacy of Madrasah principals' visionary leadership in developing the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar Makassar City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of research data are the principal, the head of the foundation and the Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar teachers in Makassar City. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The approach taken is phenomenological. The data analysis of this study used qualitative methods, with data analysis carried out by steps, data reduction, data display, and 3) data verification. The data validity test is past due to source triangulation to test the validity of data. The results showed that the visionary leadership strategy of the headmaster of madrasah in developing the quality of education of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar in Makassar City, includes a) Looking to the future seen in the vision initiated, b) Able to formulate a clear vision, seen in the vision elaboration that refers to the vision madrasah, c) Able to change the vision into action, seen in the formulation of the mission and the exemplary attitude of the principal of the madrasah performance.

    Abstract: This research aimed at exploring the challenges faced by Ms. Gruwell, teaching strategies found in the Freedom Writers movie by Richard LaGravenese and the implication of this movie in relation to English Language Teaching. This research used content analysis method. The source of the data is the movie entitled “Freedom Writers” by Richard LaGravenese. Method of collecting the data is through watching the movie. Then, the data were analyzed through triangulation: movie, interview and book review. The finding of this research showed that there are some challenges faced by Ms. Gruwell in the movie entitled The Freedom Writers such as Racial and social discrimination, Mockery and insults actions, unfriendly behavior or negative stereotyping inside the class, History of gang, and Loyalty that had an effect inside the class. Next, it is also found that the teacher applied various strategies such as cultures differences strategies, the fish bowl, free writing, independent study, information-driven and thought-provoking as well as ethnic additives strategies to create a conducive classroom climate that is useful for the teaching learning process and also encouraged her students to get better achievements. In addition, the implication of teaching are using games, tape recorder or song, switching or changing students’ seating position, journal writing, reading motivation, and class discussion or debate.

    Abstract: Cognitive interjection conveys a message that is more oriented to cognition or thought, namely something that is known as information and becomes new knowledge. This type of Interjection is different from emotive interjection and volitive interjection. This study aims to reveal the form and meaning of cognitive interjection in Indonesian and Japanese. This research is a kind of qualitative descriptive research and at the data collection stage the method used is the refer method. Natural Semantic Metalanguage Theory (NSM) is used to identify and describe the form and meaning of cognitive interjection in both languages. The forms of cognitive interjection in Indonesian are: Aha, aah, wah, ooh, hmm, oopps, hah, well, well. In Japanese the forms of interjection are: Aa (あ あ), Yaa (や あ), Maa (ま あ), Aa (あ あ), Eeto (え え と), Ee (え え), Are (あ れ), Sora (そ ら). This study found groups of meanings for cognitive interjection, which were divided into interjection expressions of thought, interjection of expressions of difficulty, interjection of agreed expressions, interjection of expressions only knowing something, interjection of expressions of distrust, interjection of expressions of guilt, interjection of expressions recalled.     Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the manufacturing sector which has the potential to increase employment and the effect of the number of industries, the GRDP of the manufacturing industry and the minimum wage on employment in the Riau Islands Province in 2015-2019. The method used in this research uses 2 methods, namely Klassen typology and panel data regression. The results of the research from the classification typology show that industries with potential employment or still developing rapidly (Quadrant III) consist of 4 industries. And the results of the panel data regression research show that the number of industries and the minimum wage have a positive and significant effect on employment. Meanwhile, the GRDP of the processing industry has a negative and significant effect on employment

    Abstract: This study aimed at analyzing the relationship between principal supervision and interpersonal communication partially and simultaneously with the work ethic of teachers at Prabumulih Public High School. This research was a survey research with a quantitative approach. The research subject was the teacher while the object of the research was the supervision of the principal and the interpersonal communication. The results obtained indicate that there is a relationship between the principal’s supervision and interpersonal communication partially and simultaneously significant with the work ethic of teachers in SMA Negeri Prabumulih.

    Abstract: This study was conducted to find out and describe the principal’s leadership in fostering teacher’s performance at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III. The research method is a qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used: (1) observation; (2) interviews; (3) run. Research data analysis techniques: (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; (3) conclusion and verification. Based on the results of the research it is known that: the principal plays an active role, in fostering teachers in preparing lesson plans, teachers in carrying out learning are in accordance with the curriculum. The teacher assesses learning outcomes every midterm, and per semester. The obstacle faced by school principals and teachers is the lack of learning resource facilities as supporting media for teachers in conveying learning, so that the learning process delivered does not work as expected and is less than optimal. The strategy carried out by the principal is by empowering the ability of teachers and utilizing makeshift learning resource facilities with a strategy of providing examples related to the daily lives of students in the real world related to the learning material delivered refers to active, innovative learning, which is creative, effective and fun.

    Abstract: Pengamatan keragaman, kelimpahan dan distribusi Kopepoda pada tiga stasiun mangrove dan estuarin Muara Angke, Teluk Jakarta dilakukan di musim kemarau (Mei) dan musim hujan (September-Oktober) 2010. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki hubungan keragaman dan kelimpahan Kopepoda dengan beberapa faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhi pola sebaran pada musim kemarau dan musim hujan. Tercatat 38 jenis dari 21 genus dan 17 suku kopepoda, termasuk dua jenis yang baru dideskripsi dari perairan Jawa yaitu Calanopia asymmetrica dan Labidocera javaensis, dan tiga catatan baru dari lokasi ini, Bestiola similis, Pseudodiaptomus incisus dan Pontellopsis inflatodigitata. Densitas tertinggi tercatat di musim kemarau, sedangkan terendah di musim hujan. Hubungan antara distribusi jenis Kopepoda dominan dan salinitas didiskusikan lebih lanjut.

    Abstract: Pada penelitian ini didapatkan adanya beberapa permasalahan khususnya di bagian gudang sparepart yakni sering terjadi keterlambatan sparepart, tidak adanya supplier tetap dan tidak adanya penilaian kinerja karyawan gudang yang bisa digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja karyawan yang ada di PT.XYZ. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja karyawan gudang sparepart dengan menggunakan pendekatan KPI (Key Performance Indictor) dan AHP (Analitical Hierarchy Process). Pengolahan data dengan menggunakan metode Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dan Analitical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil pengukuran kinerja karyawan di gudang sparepart PT. XYZ memiliki 7 KPI meliputi 5 perhitungan kebutuhan sparepart, 1 penyimpanan sparepart, dan 1 order picking. Dari hasil pembobotan kinerja didapatkan perhitungan kebutuhan sparepart yaitu akurasi perhitungan jumlah sparepart yang akan dipesan memiliki hasil bobot paling tinggi yaitu 0,27 dan yang paling rendah adalah hasil pembobotan dari pencatatan sprepart keluar/masuk dengan nilai sebesar 0,04 jadi dengan hasil tersebut perlu meningkatkan kinerja karyawan  gudang agar dapat mengembangkan produktivitas dari perusahaan itu sendiri.

    Abstract: Perubahan sosial merupakan hal yang niscaya, yang tak mungkin dihadang dengan pendekatan apapun. Sehingga ‘rekayasa sosial’ yang seyogyanya dilakukan tidak diorientasikan pada upaya menghadang perubahan demi perubahan yang terus berlangsung, namun justru bagaimana mengendalikan perubahan itu untuk bisa hadir melahirkan kondisi sosial yang positif dan produktif. Dalam konteks beradaptasi dengan perubahan-perubahan itu beberapa pendekatan keilmuan dicoba untuk dipergunakan, terutama agar perubahan-perubahan yang niscaya membawa dampak yang tidak selalu positif itu bisa terkendali. Demikian juga dampak perubahan yang sebagiannya bernuansa negative itu bisa direhabilitasi untuk tidak terlalu membawa korban. Diantara dampak dari perubahan sosial yang telah, sedang dan akan terus terjadi adalah timbulnya masalah sosial. Masalah sosial yang terjadi memerlukan penanganan; oleh para ahli maupun praktisi. Penanganan masalah sosial yang antara lain dilakukan dengan pendekatan rehabilitasi sosial, memerlukan basis teoritis-akademis.

    Abstract: One of the reasons for the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is that the learning model used by the teacher is not appropriate, the teacher implements conventional one-way learning, only transferring information from the teacher to the students. The purpose of this research is to improve Islamic education learning outcomes through the application of discovery learning models. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. As the subject of this research are students of SD Miftahul Iman Pekanbaru. The subject of this research was the second grade students of SDIT Iftahul Iman, which consisted of 24 students. Data collection techniques use observation and giving assignments in the core activities, in order to get information about the activeness of children in participating in the teaching and learning process. The results of this study stated that the learning outcomes of class II students at SDIT Miftahul Iman Pekanabaru Islamic Education increased as expected. This success was caused by the application of the discovery learning learning model, this was evident from the student learning outcomes which continued to increase from the first cycle to 66.66% student learning outcomes which achieved completeness while in the second cycle 87.5%.
