    Abstract: With the increasing degree of informatization and intelligence in modern society, human-computer interaction technology has become one of the commonly used scientific and technological achievements. “Gesture” can be used as inputing image information, and make more intuitive and convenient for perception of user interface. To a certain extent, it can complete the intelligent interaction function between human and computer. The design is a human-computer intelligent interaction system for 3D gesture recognition and motion tracking based on gesture sensor PAJ7620. STM32 chip is used as the main control unit to recognize accurately, analyze and process different gestures collected by the gesture sensor, and control the OLED screen to display the gesture information. It can further drive the carrier to take corresponding actions and realize the intelligent human-computer interaction recognition of gestures. The experimental test results show that the recognition rate is lose to 100% when the distance is within 10cm.

    Abstract: Global burden of fungal infections and related health risk has accelerated at an incredible pace, and multidrug resistance emergency aggravates the need for the development of new effective strategies. Candida albicans is clinically the most ubiquitous pathogenic fungus that leads to high incidence and mortality in immunocompromised patients. Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), in this context, represent promising alternatives having potential to be exploited for improving human health. In our previous studies, a Cecropin-4-derived peptide named C18 was found to possess a broader antibacterial spectrum after modification and exhibit significant antifungal activity against C. albicans . In this study, C18 shows antifungal activity against C. albicans or non- albicans Candida species with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) at 4∼32 μg/ml, and clinical isolates of fluconazole (FLZ)-resistance C. tropicalis were highly susceptible to C18 with MIC value of 8 or 16 μg/ml. Additionally, C18 is superior to FLZ for killing planktonic C. albicans from inhibitory and killing kinetic curves. Moreover, C18 could attenuate the virulence of C. albicans , which includes damaging the cell structure, retarding hyphae transition, and inhibiting biofilm formation. Intriguingly, in the Galleria mellonella model with C. albicans infection, C18 could improve the survival rate of G. mellonella larvae to 70% and reduce C. albicans load from 5.01 × 10 7 to 5.62 × 10 4 CFU. For mechanistic action of C18, the level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation and cytosolic Ca 2 + increased in the presence of C18, which is closely associated with mitochondrial dysfunction. Meanwhile, mitochondrial membrane potential (△Ψm) loss and ATP depletion of C. albicans occurred with the treatment of C18. We hypothesized that C18 might inhibit C. albicans via triggering mitochondrial dysfunction driven by ROS generation and Ca 2 + accumulation. Our observation provides a basis for future research to explore the antifungal strategies and presents C18 as an attractive therapeutic candidate to be developed to treat candidiasis.

    Abstract: Multimodal therapies based on surgical resection have been recommended for the treatment of adenocarcinoma of the oesophagogastric junction (AEG). We aimed to evaluate prognostic factors in AEG patients receiving neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and to build predictive models. Methods T3 − T4N + M0 AEG patients with resectable Siewert type II/III tumours were enrolled in this study. All patients underwent neoadjuvant chemoradiation, followed by radical surgery or systemic therapy according to clinical response. Survival analysis was performed using the Kaplan–Meier method; multivariate analysis using the Cox proportional hazards method was also conducted. The Harrell concordance index (C-index) was used to test the prognostic value of models involving prognostic factors, and consistency between actual and predicted survival rates was evaluated by calibration curves. Results From February 2009 to February 2018, 79 patients were treated with neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy; 60 patients of them underwent radical surgery. The R0 resection rate was 98.3%, and 46.7% of patients achieved a major pathologic response (MPR), namely, a residual tumour issue less than 10%. The 5-year overall survival (OS) rate was 63%, and the 5-year progression-free survival (PFS) rate was 48%. The incidence of grade 3 complications was 21.5%, and no grade 4 complications were reported. According to the results of univariate and multivariate analyses, we included the neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio (NLR), prognostic nutrition index (PNI), eosinophilic granulocyte (EOS) and postoperative pathologic stage in nomogram analysis to establish prediction models for OS and PFS; the C-index of each model was 0.814 and 0.722, respectively. Both the C-index and calibration curves generated to validate consistency between the actual and predicted survival indicated that the models were well calibrated and of good predictive value. Conclusions AEG patients achieved favourable downstaging and pathologic response after neoadjuvant chemoradiation, with acceptable adverse effects. Inflammation-based and nutrition-related factors and postoperative pathologic stage had a significant influence on OS and PFS, and the predictive value was verified through prognostic models.

    Abstract: Few studies have evaluated the significance of sarcopenia in predicting the outcomes of patients with adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG), especially those who received neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (NCRT). We aimed to identify the sarcopenic status and its impact on the outcomes of patients with locally advanced AEG who received NCRT followed by radical surgery or systemic therapy. Materials and methods Patients with T3-4N+M0 AEG with accessible abdominal computed tomography (CT) before and after NCRT were retrospectively analyzed. Body composition parameters, particularly the skeletal muscle index (SMI), were assessed using a CT-based method, and sarcopenia was defined using a predetermined SMI cutoff value. Survival analysis was conducted using the Kaplan–Meier method. A Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to identify independent prognostic factors. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was carried out, and the area under the curve (AUC) was calculated to test the prognostic accuracy of different factors. Results A total of 63 patients were enrolled, 65.1 and 79.4% of whom developed pre- and post-NCRT sarcopenia, respectively. Patients with pre-NCRT sarcopenia had lower radical surgery rates (70.7 vs . 95.5%, p = 0.047) than those without sarcopenia; however, sarcopenic status did not affect other short-term outcomes, including treatment-related toxicity and efficacy. Pre-NCRT sarcopenia was identified as an independent predictive factor for poor overall survival (OS) [adjusted hazard ratio (HR), 6.053; p = 0.002] and progression-free survival (PFS) (adjusted HR, 2.873; p = 0.031). Compared with nutritional indices such as the Nutritional Risk Screening 2002, weight loss during NCRT, and post-NCRT sarcopenia, pre-NCRT sarcopenia was regarded as the best predictive index for the 5-year OS (AUC = 0.735) and PFS rates (AUC = 0.770). Conclusion Pre-NCRT sarcopenia may be an independent predictive factor for OS and PFS rates in patients with locally advanced AEG receiving multimodal treatment.

    Abstract: Skin pruritus is a common complication in patients with uremia. When the hemodialysis time of patients is extended, and the probability of skin pruritus is greater. Patients often have the symptoms of skin pruritus intolerable, affecting the normal sleep and normal life of patients. The patients with uremic pruritus often constant scratching and pruritus skin, resulting in broken skin, and further symptoms such as infection, and subsequent skin shedding, prurigo nodularis, and other adverse complications, aggravating the patient's condition. Some patients will experience symptoms such as depression and insomnia due to skin pruritus, and simply scratching the skin lead to infection. Severely affected patients may even show suicidal tendency, endangering the physical and mental health of patients, and it is needed to give the effective treatment to patients. Hemodialysis is a common treatment for uremic pruritus, which can effectively relieve the pruritus symptoms of patients. The drugs can also relieve the symptoms and improve the degree of pruritus in patients. And some studies show that traditional Chinese medicine UCG combined with HFH in the treatment of uremic pruritus has a very good effect, Therefore, this study will systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of UCG combined with HFH and HFH alone in the treatment of uremic pruritus. Methods: Use computer to search English and Chinese databases, English databases include: PubMed, Web of Science, EMbase, The Cochrane Library. Chinese databases include: CNKI, CBM, WanFang Data and VIP databases, collecting the RCT on the clinical effectiveness and safety of UCG combined with HFH and HFH alone in the treatment of uremic pruritus. The retrieval time is from the beginning of each database to May 1, 2021. In order to improve the retrieval rate of the literature, the references cited in the included research are also collected and screened. Set Chinese and English as the search language. Two members of the research group independently collected, included and excluded the literatures. In case of disagreement, consulting the third party to assist in the judgment. For the literature with missing data, the original author should be contacted as far as possible to obtain complete data. Two evaluators evaluate the bias risk of included studies according to the Cochrane Handbook bias risk assessment tool for RCT. RevMan 5.3 software is used for statistical analysis and the forest plot is drawn to show the outcome indicators and funnel plot is drawn to show the publication bias. Results: This study evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of traditional Chinese medicine UCG combined with HFH and HFH alone in the treatment of uremic pruritus through the clinical effectiveness and safety-related indicators. Conclusion: This study will give a positive conclusion on the efficacy and safety of uremic clearance granule in the treatment of uremic pruritus, and the research results will be published in professional journals in the form of academic papers, thus benefiting more patients. Ethics and dissemination: This study belongs to meta-analysis and all data comes from academic papers published publicly in formal academic journals, so there are no ethical issues involved in this study and no ethical review or approval is required.     Abstract: An experiment on effects of composite promoting agents composed of surfactants and liquid hydrocarbons on hydrate formation was conducted and hydrate formation temperature, pressure, induction time and rate with different composite promoting agent portfolios were measured. Surfactants used were sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS) and 2-octyl sodium dodecyl sulfate(GC20S), and liquid hydrocarbon additives utilized were ring silane e (CP) and methyl cyclohexane (MCH). It appeared that all these combinations of composite promoting agents could promote hydrate formation. Type II and H hydrate formation conditions with composite promoting agents CP+GC20S and MCH+GC20S respectively were the mildest and the induction time was the shortest.
