Abstract:
In 1 994, a by-pass project in the Pays d'Auge, half way between the Seine valley and the Caen plain, provided the opportunity of investigating a small, hitherto unknown domestic enclosure, dating to the end of the early La Tène period, at Fierville-les-Parcs. This seulement which develops alongside the marshland bordering the eastern bank of the river Touques, remains the only évidence of La Tène occupation in the area. It is thus appropriate to compare this site and the artefacts with those from the neighbouring régions.
