Abstract:
In inkjet printing of organic light‐emitting diode (OLED), the formation of homogeneous film is a critical step to realize highperformance device architecture that is comparable with thermal vaporation‐based device, which is essential for OLED application. Inkjet printing (IJP) is followed by vacuum drying and subsequent annealing. By optimizing ink parameters as well as drying and annealing conditions, the flat and homogeneous film can be obtained. The viscosity, surface tension of ink and its wetting behavior of ink on the previous layer impact the quality of film. We have successfully prepared OLED employing successive fabrication of printing and evaporation.
